Braxton Berrios WR | NYG
Jets' Braxton Berrios: Caps preseason with TD
Berrios caught both of his targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 preseason win over the Giants. He also had a 15-yard punt return.
In addition to being an All-Pro return man on special teams in 2021, Berrios also had his best season offensively, setting career highs in catches (46) and receiving yards (431). New York added 2022 first-round pick Garrett Wilson to Corey Davis and Elijah Moore at the wide receiver position this offseason, but Berrios is more than capable of filling in effectively should any of them get hurt. Berrios showed off his burst in this one, making a man miss before outracing the entire Giants defense down the left sideline for a 21-yard touchdown.

Rondale Moore WR | MIN
Cardinals' Rondale Moore: No action this preseason
Moore didn't play in Saturday's preseason contest in Tennessee.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury kept the core of the Cardinals offense on the sideline for all three of the team's exhibition, meaning Moore's next chance to get on the field is Sunday, Sept. 11 versus the Chiefs. At that time, top wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be logging a six-game suspension, and Moore, Marquise Brown and A.J. Green figure to profit. A 2021 second-round pick, Moore flashed as a rookie last year but ultimately was inconsistent, recording 54 catches (on 64 targets) for 435 yards and one touchdown, 18 carries for 76 yards, 22.4 yards on 13 kick returns and 8.1 yards on 21 punt returns.

George Pickens WR | DAL
Steelers' George Pickens: Gains 35 yards in preseason finale
Pickens caught three of five targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 19-9 preseason win over the Lions.
Pickens got to start Sunday's preseason tilt with Chase Claypool (rest) getting the night off. The 2022 second-round pick put together a strong showing to close out the exhibition schedule, but he still projects to be third on the receiver pecking order behind the established duo of Diontae Johnson and the aforementioned Claypool. Pickens would garner fantasy interest even at third on the depth chart if the Steelers still had Ben Roethlisberger in his prime, but given the uncertainty under center this season, the rookie wideout seems to be more of an upside stash heading into a Week 1 matchup with the Bengals.

Alec Pierce WR | IND
Colts' Alec Pierce: Goes without target Saturday
Pierce started Saturday's preseason win versus the Buccaneers, but he wasn't targeted on eight offensive snaps.
Pierce joined Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell in the starting lineup, but only Pittman (3-29-0 on three targets) made an impact in the box score. Overall, Pierce ends exhibition season with three catches (on four targets) for 36 yards, while Campbell went without a reception on two targets. Pierce, a 2022 second-round pick, thus appears set to be a regular part of the Colts' receiving corps this year, but Pittman likely will dominate the attention of new quarterback Matt Ryan, somewhat capping the rookie's potential.

DJ Chark WR | ATL
Lions' DJ Chark: Starts in preseason finale
Chark started alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown in Sunday's preseason finale, failing to record a catch on two targets in a 19-9 loss to Pittsburgh.
Chark didn't get a chance to impress in this contest, but starting quarterback Jared Goff (rest) sat this one out, so we'll have to wait and see how the new teammates develop chemistry once the regular season starts. The 25-year-old performed well during his four years in Jacksonville, so he could be a name worth monitoring early on given his projected starting role in Detroit. Chark is coming off of a serious ankle injury that limited him to four games in 2021, but the fact he was out there for an exhibition bodes well for his full availability to begin the regular season when the Lions take on the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Parris Campbell WR | DAL
Colts' Parris Campbell: Another target-free outing
Campbell started Saturday's preseason win against the Buccaneers, but he wasn't targeted on 13 offensive snaps.
While Campbell saw action in all three of the Colts' exhibitions, he only saw two passes comes his way and didn't haul in either of them. He thus enters the regular season with no in-game connections with new starting quarterback Matt Ryan, and Campbell also has ample competition for targets in the form of top wide receiver Michael Pittman and rookie second-round pick Alec Pierce. On top of that, injuries have limited Campbell, a 2019 second-rounder himself, to 15 games and 34 catches through three campaigns.
-
Quintez Cephus WR | HOU
Lions' Quintez Cephus: Touchdown in preseason finale
Cephus caught one of three targets for five yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Steelers.
Cephus made his preseason debut after missing most of the summer with an undisclosed leg injury. While he didn't earn many targets despite playing into the fourth quarter, he did well to get open for a touchdown on a broken play at the end of the game. Considering the Lions kept up to seven receivers on the roster last year, Cephus seems to have good odds of surviving cuts this week, especially with Jameson Williams (knee) on the PUP list.
-
Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Three catches in final exhibition
St. Brown caught three of five targets for 34 yards in Sunday's preseason finale against the Steelers.
St. Brown got to get in one more tune-up appearance, despite some key starters sitting out. The talented sophomore is looking to take a step forward after a promising rookie campaign. Expect St. Brown to be Jared Goff's primary target after the two built up a solid rapport in 2021. The Lions will be taking on the Eagles to begin the 2022 regular season on Sunday, Sept. 11.
-
Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Injury likely isn't serious
Coach Mike Tomlin said during a halftime interview on the CBS broadcast that the shoulder injury suffered by Johnson during Sunday's preseason contest versus the Lions shouldn't be a long-term issue, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Johnson got hurt in the process of hauling in a deep ball down the left sideline from Mitch Trubisky when two Detroit defenders took him to the ground. While Johnson was quickly ruled out of the contest, the decision appears to have been one made because it's exhibition season. Still, his status in practice will be one to watch in advance of Week 1, when the Steelers pay visit to the Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Justin Hall WR | MIN
Justin Hall: Let go by Las Vegas
The Raiders waived Hall on Sunday, Josh Dubow of the Associated Press reports.
Hall signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State, where he ended his career as the school's all-time leader in receptions (318) and receiving yards (3,385). However, he finds himself among the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline.
