Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Limited session Wednesday
Sutton was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an wrist injury, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Sutton's name popped up on the Broncos' fairly lengthy Week 16 injury report Wednesday, though it's unclear if his wrist issue is anything that might affect his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. In Denver's 15-10 loss to the Bengals in Week 15, Sutton logged a 92-percent snap share and caught just two passes for 12 yards.

Zay Jones WR | HOU
Raiders' Zay Jones: Sits out Wednesday
Jones didn't participate at Wednesday's walkthrough practice due to a toe injury.
Jones presumably picked up the injury during Monday's win over the Browns while catching six of nine targets for 67 yards. The 26-year-old has played a significant role in the Raiders' receiving corps since the Week 8 bye, and he may need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance of suiting up this weekend versus Denver.

Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Nearing activation
Head coach Pete Carroll relayed Wednesday that Lockett (illness) is closing in on being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Lockett found himself on the COVID-19 list last Thursday following a positive test for the virus, and while the Seahawks' Week 15 matchup was pushed back two days to Tuesday due to COVID-19-related issues afflicting the Rams, the delay didn't provide enough time for the wide receiver to clear league protocols. Carroll's comments could imply that Lockett may have returned his first negative test. If so, Lockett will need to do the same 24 hours from that initial test in order to return to the active roster.
-
DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Remains limited at practice
Metcalf (foot) was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Per usual, the Seahawks continue to manage Metcalf's activity level due to the foot injury he's been tending to since Week 4. Despite it all, he earned a season-high 12 targets Tuesday against the Rams, but the elevated workload only amounted to six catches for 52 yards. Assuming he gets out of Week 16 prep without a designation, Metcalf will take on the Bears' fourth-ranked pass defense (205.4 yards per game) Sunday.
-
Kalif Raymond WR | CHI
Lions' Kalif Raymond: Limited Wednesday
Raymond was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury.
Raymond secured two of three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, but he apparently sustained the shoulder injury at some point during the matchup. The severity of the issue isn't yet clear, but Tom Kennedy and KhaDarel Hodge could be called upon to play more snaps at receiver if Raymond is sidelined this weekend against Atlanta.
-
Chris Conley WR | SF
Texans' Chris Conley: Listed as limited Wednesday
Conley (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
It remains to be seen if Conley is simply managing a knee issue coming out of Week 15 action, or is dealing with something that could affect his status for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Conley's Week 16 availability gains added import, with Houston's top wideout Brandin Cooks having landed on the reserve-COVID-19 on Wednesday.
-
Adam Thielen WR | PIT
Vikings' Adam Thielen: Fits in some work Wednesday
Thielen (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
During the portion of the walk-through open to the media, Thielen didn't take part in any drills, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. Still, Thielen mixed in at some point during the session to garner a limited tag on Wednesday's report. It marked the first time he went down as anything other than a non-participant in practice since suffering a left high-ankle sprain Dec. 5 at Detroit, setting him up for a potential return to action Sunday against the Rams.
-
Nelson Agholor WR | BAL
Patriots' Nelson Agholor: In concussion protocol
The Patriots listed Agholor as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a concussion.
Agholor exited in the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Colts with what the team termed as a head injury, but it wasn't until the release of the team's first Week 16 practice report that it was revealed the wideout had entered the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. He'll now have two more opportunities to potentially fit in some on-field work before the Patriots host the Bills on Sunday, but even if Agholor upgrades to limited or full practice activity by Friday, he'll still need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play. Along with Agholor, Kendrick Bourne (illness) also is at risk of sitting out Week 16 after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, so the Patriots' wideout corps could be more shorthanded than usual.
-
Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Bears' Marquise Goodwin: Limited at walkthrough
Goodwin (foot) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough.
This marks the second time Goodwin has been listed as limited on a Bears practice report since picking up a foot injury during a Thanksgiving Day win at Detroit. It's unclear if he's closing in on ending a three-game absence, but his activity on the field Thursday and Friday may provide some insight into his potential to return Sunday in Seattle.
-
Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Jaguars' Laviska Shenault: Nursing shoulder, foot issues
Shenault didn't practice Wednesday due to shoulder and foot injuries.
Shenault presumably picked up the injuries during Sunday's loss to the Texans while totaling four catches for 39 yards and one carry for 10 yards. The 23-year-old may need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance of suiting up this weekend versus the Jets.
