  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Football Team's Cam Sims: Gets another start

Sims got the start and played 94 percent of offensive snaps in Sunday's 30-27 loss to Detroit, catching four of five targets for 54 yards.

Isaiah Wright and Steven Sims had six targets apiece, but both played less than half the snaps on offense, while Cam rarely left the field. It was his third consecutive start and third game in a row playing at least 74 percent of snaps. He's seen only 10 targets in that stretch, but he's made the most of them with eight catches for 186 yards. Despite the solid work, it is possible Sims loses some playing time when Dontrelle Inman (hamstring) is ready to play. Inman was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, so he could be back as soon as Week 11 against the Bengals.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Panthers' Curtis Samuel: Stymied against Bucs

Samuel caught three of five targets for eight yards and rushed three times for four yards in Sunday's 46-23 loss to the Buccaneers.

Samuel entered Sunday with increased expectations following his strong recent form and projected upside in helping replace Christian McCaffrey (shoulder). Although the utility weapon drew three carries for the third straight week, Samuel hardly found anywhere to run against a stingy Bucs defense, and didn't fare any better in the passing game. Overall, those struggles amounted to a season low in scrimmage yards for Samuel, as he failed to deliver on his enhanced outlook. Whether or not McCaffrey returns in Week 11 versus the Lions, Samuel will be eager for an improved performance, but the status of starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) could be worthwhile to monitor in relation to Samuel's stock.

  • Randall Cobb WR | NYJ

Texans' Randall Cobb: Leads in receiving yards

Cobb caught three of five targets for a team-high 41 yards in Sunday's 10-7 loss to Cleveland.

Cobb finished third in targets and catches behind Brandin Cooks and Will Fuller on a rainy, windy day in Cleveland that put a cap on downfield passing. No wide receiver on either team crossed the 50-yard mark.

  • DeAndre Carter WR | DET

Texans' DeAndre Carter: Reduced return role

Carter was replaced as the returner on kickoffs by C.J. Prosise in Sunday's 10-7 loss to the Browns, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Texans cut back on Carter's duties on special teams, replacing him completely on kickoffs while having wide receiver Will Fuller share the punt return duties. Carter returned one punt for nine yards in the loss.

  • Browns' KhaDarel Hodge: One target in win

Hodge failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Texans.

Hodge was touted as a deep-threat replacement for the injured Odell Beckham (knee) over the Browns' bye week, but there was little downfield throwing during a game that featured gusting winds and rain. The target was just the seventh of the season for Hodge, who makes more impact as a blocker for Cleveland's two-headed backfield of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

  • Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Two receptions in Week 10 win

Peoples-Jones caught two of two targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over Houston.

The Browns attempted just 20 throws on a day heavily impacted by the weather conditions. After the top two wideouts got their share of the targets, there was little left for those on the lower end of the depth chart. Peoples-Jones ended up with one more target than KhaDarel Hodge, as both players fight for attention behind Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins.

  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Ravens' Marquise Brown: Held in check again

Brown caught just two of six targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 23-17 loss to New England.

Shutdown corner J.C. Jackson was all over Brown in this prime-time matchup, smothering the wideout at the line of scrimmage and even keeping pace with the speedster and picking off a deep shot by Lamar Jackson. Brown has fallen into a three-game cold spell, tallying just 55 receiving yards over that span after racking up 376 yards in his previous six contests. The Ravens have faced three elite secondaries during Brown's slump, which may explain why the deep threat has been held in check. Things won't get any easier with the Titans and Steelers (who held Brown to three yards in their previous meeting) on tap for Weeks 11 and 12, respectively.

  • Willie Snead WR | MIA

Ravens' Willie Snead: Scores twice in loss to Pats

Snead had five receptions (seven targets) for 64 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-17 loss to New England.

Hollywood Brown was removed from the game plan by corner J.C. Jackson, so Lamar Jackson had to turn to Snead to attack downfield, although one of the slot receiver's TD "catches" came on a quick flip from Jackson on a jet sweep. Snead has quietly been putting up useful fantasy numbers of late, racking up 14 receptions for 207 yards and two scores over his last two contests. Those performances have come against some top-tier defenses, which may explain why Jackson has gone Snead's way as opposed to trying to take the top off those secondaries with Brown or rookie speedster Devin Duvernay. Another disciplined defensive unit in the Tennessee Titans is on tap in Week 11, so perhaps this trend could continue.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Clearly Newton's top option

Meyers caught five of seven targets for 59 yards while also throwing a 24-yard touchdown on his lone passing attempt in Sunday's 23-17 win over Baltimore.

Meyers scored his first NFL touchdown in the 22nd game of his professional career, but it did not come the way most would have expected. The former high-school quarterback received a backwards pass from Cam Newton before planting his feet and throwing a Russell Wilson-esque rainbow that fell into Rex Burkhead's bread basket in the end zone. The trick play was a treat to witness, but the important news for fantasy owners was that Meyers paced all Patriot receivers in targets, catches and receptions for the fourth week in a row. In fact, the 24-year-old was the only wide receiver to be targeted by Cam Newton the entire evening. Meyers is averaging 6.8 receptions and 86.5 yards in the four games since becoming a starter, which should make him relevant in almost any format, especially if he can start to find the end zone as a receiver. He will look to do just that in a favorable matchup against the Texans on Sunday.

  • Greg Ward WR | IND

Eagles' Greg Ward: Five catches in loss

Ward caught five of his six targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Giants.

Ward has topped 40 yards just once this season, all the way back in Week 3. He does have three touchdowns on the year, but with most of the Eagles offense now healthy, there is a good chance his opportunities will be reduced going forward.
