  • Adam Thielen WR | PIT

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Two receptions in loss

Thielen had two receptions for 26 yards on three targets in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

Thielen started in a three-receiver set on offense and saw a slight increase in both targets (one last week) and snaps (38 of the offense's 47 snaps). He still saw fewer targets than Jalen Nailor (five) and ran fewer routes (30 to 27), but the gap was closer than Week 1. While Thielen's usage improved slightly, the passing offense may be limited by J.J. McCarthy's erratic play, and his role could decrease in two weeks when Jordan Addison returns from a three-game suspension.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Played through wrist injury Week 2

Jaguars coach Liam Coen said Monday that Thomas entered Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Bengals nursing a wrist injury, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Thomas wasn't listed on Jacksonville's injury report leading up to Sunday's loss, so his wrist injury could have been sustained over the weekend. An injury would somewhat explain Thomas' inefficiency versus Cincinnati, as he secured just four of 12 targets for 49 yards during the narrow loss and at times seemed to visibly shy away from contact. Coen said Thomas "knows he needs to have a great week of practice," per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville radio, so fantasy managers will need to monitor whether the Year 2 wideout is listed on Wednesday's first injury report of Week 3 ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Texans.

  • Falcons' Ray-Ray McCloud: Non-factor during SNF

McCloud recorded zero receptions on two targets during Sunday's 22-6 win over the Vikings.

After playing 73 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps in Week 1, McCloud was on the field for only 23 percent during Sunday Night Football. There were multiple factors in McCloud's diminished role. Darnell Mooney made his season debut against Minnesota after missing Week 1 due to a shoulder injury, which pushed McCloud down the depth chart. Plus, the Falcons focused more on the run during Sunday's defensive-dominated game, as QB Michael Penix threw only 21 times in Week 2 compared to 42 attempts in Week 1. Drake London, Mooney, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson will demand targets weekly, so if the Falcons are throwing it fewer than 25 times per game, it'll be difficult for McCloud to deliver consistent production.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Modest production in season debut

Mooney caught two of four targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 22-6 win over the Vikings.

After missing Week 1 due to a shoulder injury, Mooney didn't have an injury designation heading into Sunday Night Football. He played 57 of 66 offensive snaps during his season debut, which led Atlanta's WRs (Drake London finished with 56). Despite being on the field often, Mooney failed to haul in either of his targets in the first half, and both of his receptions came within three plays during the Falcons' first drive of the second half. The run game was the clear emphasis for Atlanta during Sunday's defensive-dominated game, as Falcons QB Michael Penix attempted only 21 passes after throwing 41 times Week 1. Mooney is the clear No. 2 wideout behind London and will look to get more involved against the Panthers in Week 3. However, it'll be difficult for any pass catchers to deliver consistent production if the Falcons are pushing 40 rushing attempts consistently.

  • Jaguars' Parker Washington: Leads team in receiving

Washington secured all five of his targets for 76 yards during Jacksonville's 31-27 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday.

Washington wasn't targeted in Week 1, but he led the Jaguars in receiving yards in a Week 2 loss that saw Brian Thomas turn 12 targets into just four catches for 49 yards, with rookie Travis Hunter limited to just three grabs for 22 yards on six targets. It was No. 3 man Dyami Brown who scored the only one of Trever Lawrence's three touchdowns to go to a wide receiver. Washington's production came on just a 24 percent snap share on offense, but his workload could increase after such a strong showing.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Jaguars' Dyami Brown: Scores in Week 2 loss

Brown secured five of seven targets for 57 yards and a touchdown during Jacksonville's 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Brown finished second on the team in receiving yards behind Parker Washington (5-76-0 on five targets), outproducing both Brian Thomas (4-49-0 on 12 targets) and Travis Hunter (3-22-0 on six targets). While Thomas and Hunter remain in the top two spots on the depth chart, Brown has racked up over 50 yards in back-to-back weeks as the Jaguars adapt to new head coach Liam Coen's offensive scheme, and the former Commander could be a useful option for fantasy teams in need of a fill-in due to injuries or bye weeks. Brown will look to stay productive in Week 3 against the Texans.

  • Dolphins' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Makes two grabs vs. New England

Westbrook-Ikhine secured two of three targets for 18 yards during Miami's 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Westbrook-Ikhine played just 28 percent of offensive snaps, working further behind Malik Washington (65 percent) than he did in Week 1. Still, Westbrook-Ikhine drew one more target than his competition for the No. 3 wideout role, though Washington also handled three carries and scored a TD on a punt return. The Dolphins' passing game is in need of red-zone playmakers, and Westbrook-Ikhine could eventually step into that role after having scored a career-high nine touchdowns with the Titans last season, but he's currently off the fantasy radar heading into a difficult Thursday night matchup against Buffalo.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Showcases versatility in loss

Washington secured one of two targets for two yards during Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Patriots. He also gained 23 rushing yards on three carries and added 122 yards and a touchdown on three kick returns.

Washington made his biggest impact on special teams in Week 2, returning two kickoffs for 48 yards and scoring a 74-yard touchdown on his only punt return. The second-year wideout once again operated as the No. 3 receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, playing 65 percent of the offensive snaps compared to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine's 28 percent, on which he produced two catches for 18 yards on three targets. Washington's versatility and playmaking ability remain encouraging, but as long as both Hill and Waddle are healthy, it'll be difficult to project the 2024 sixth-round pick for a consistent fantasy contribution heading into Thursday night's matchup against the Bills, outside of formats that value the return game.

  • Patriots' Kyle Williams: Ten snaps on offense Sunday

Williams was on the field for 10 of 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

The 2025 third-rounder wasn't targeted by QB Drake Maye in Week 2, and while Williams could see his role in the Patriots offense grow as the season progresses, for now he's off the fantasy radar.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Catches TD in Week 2

Hollins caught one of two targets for an eight-yard touchdown in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins.

Hollins was on the field for 39 of 60 snaps on offense in the contest per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. The wideout has recorded one catch in each of his first two games this season, and despite Sunday's score, Hollins remains a speculative fantasy option at best while fighting for targets with Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams among New England's WRs, plus tight ends Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper.
