Keenan Allen WR | LAC
Chargers' Keenan Allen: Headed back to Los Angeles
Allen and the Chargers agreed on a one-year, $8.52 million contract Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Allen is headed back to the team he spent the first 11 seasons of his career with from 2013 through 2023. The 33-year-old suited up for the Bears in 2024, catching 70 of 121 targets for 744 yards and seven touchdowns over 15 regular-season games. Allen now will reunite with quarterback Justin Herbert after recording 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven scores in their most recent campaign together in 2023. The wide receiver probably won't see that kind of volume in his return to Los Angeles however, as Ladd McConkey (undisclosed) is the clear No. 1 for the Chargers, and the team invested a second-round pick in the 2025 Draft in Mississippi standout Tre Harris.

Andy Isabella WR | SF
Andy Isabella: Gets waived with injury
San Francisco waived Isabella (ankle) with a failure to disclose physical condition designation Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
It wasn't a full week after Isabella signed with the 49ers before he suffered an ankle injury, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic, and he's now getting waived. In a corresponding transaction, San Francisco signed wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown on Tuesday.

Equanimeous St. Brown WR | SF
49ers' Equanimeous St. Brown: Heading back to San Francisco
The 49ers signed St. Brown on Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Less than a week after being released by San Francisco, St. Brown is now back with the team, and he'll get another chance to compete for one of its last roster spots at wide receiver. In a corresponding transaction, the 49ers released wide receiver Andy Isabella on Tuesday.

Jordan Addison WR | MIN
Vikings' Jordan Addison: Receives three-game suspension
The NFL announced Tuesday that Addison has been suspended the first three games of the 2025 regular season for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Addison's suspension relates to a 2024 DUI citation which he resolved legally in July, receiving a fine and probation. The third-year pro now will need to wait until Week 4 against the Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 28 to make his regular-season debut, though he'll remain eligible to participate in training camp and preseason contests. Addison's position in 2025 fantasy drafts figures to take a hit with his suspension official, though the three-game penalty is in line with the NFL's general response for such violations of the substance abuse policy. While Addison will resume operating as Minnesota's clear No. 2 receiver behind Justin Jefferson (hamstring), who is currently not practicing, once he's back in the lineup Week 4, there are real uncertainties about his path to consistent target involvement. In addition to a possible slow start after his suspension, Addison faces competition from both Jefferson and TE T.J. Hockenson (now further removed from the ACL tear that delayed his season debut in 2024), plus the potential for inconsistency from second-year QB J.J. McCarthy.

Marvin Harrison Jr. WR | ARI
Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Returns to practice
Harrison (knee) is returning to practice Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
He missed practice Thursday and Friday due to knee soreness and then felt ill over the weekend. A quick return to practice may allow Harrison to play in Saturday's preseason opener against Kansas City, with coach Jonathan Gannon announcing Tuesday that he plans to use Kyler Murray and other starters.

Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Panthers' Hunter Renfrow: Progressing but not practicing
Renfrow (hamstring) has resumed running but isn't yet back at practice, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Renfrow has sat out roughly one week of practices due to a tweaked hamstring, but Carolina appears to be taking a cautious approach to the veteran wideout's return. That caution seems prudent, given that Renfrow last suited up for NFL action in 2023. The 29-year-old slot specialist is competing for reps in a surprisingly crowded Panthers receiving corps.

Michael Pittman WR | IND
Colts' Michael Pittman: Back at practice
Pittman (groin) returned to practice Tuesday, Jake Arthur of Locked On Colts reports.
He's making his return exactly a week after suffering what was apparently a minor groin injury. Pittman may not play in Thursday's preseason game against Baltimore, but he's on track for Week 1. Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones are still competing for the starting QB job.

Marquise Brown WR | KC
Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Not back at practice yet
Brown (ankle) isn't practicing Tuesday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Brown hasn't practiced since making an early exit last Tuesday. He's unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Cardinals, although coach Andy Reid suggested last week that the wideout's ankle injury isn't too serious. Brown's absence could open up more first-team reps for rookie Jalen Royals, who has made a good impression early in training camp.

A.J. Brown WR | PHI
Eagles' A.J. Brown: Watching another practice
Brown (hamstring) is not participating in practice Tuesday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Brown continues to attend practice as an observer, per Berman, rather than participating in the sort of rehab program that might indicate he was dealing with a serious hamstring injury. All indications are that the Eagles are simply taking a cautious approach to the star wideout's health, with the team's Week 1 matchup against Dallas still roughly one month away.

Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Uncertain for Week 1
Buccaneers GM Jason Licht said Tuesday that Godwin (ankle) is "exactly where" the team hoped he would be in his recovery, but the team hasn't yet made a decision on whether he will start the season on the reserve/PUP list, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Godwin began training camp on the active/PUP list, and if he's shifted to reserve/PUP he'll have to sit out a minimum of four regular-season games before being activated. The 29-year-old wideout is recovering from a dislocated left ankle suffered in Week 7 of last season, and while by all accounts his recovery is on track, Godwin remains without a timeline to return to practice. As a result, his availability for Week 1 is up in the air. Rookie first-rounder Emeka Egbuka, second-year wideout Jalen McMillan and tight end Cade Otton (hamstring) could all benefit from increased target opportunities if Godwin does have to miss time.
