Godwin is in line to operate as the Buccaneers de facto No. 1 receiver again in Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Falcons, as Emeka Egbuka (concussion/foot) is inactive for the contest per Scott Smith of the team's official site.

Godwin filled Egbuka's No. 1 role in a Week 7 rout of the Panthers, one where Baker Mayfield returned from a thumb injury but put the ball up only 11 times in a 43-13 win for Tampa Bay. As a result, Godwin ran just 12 routes, although he was targeted on 41.7 percent of them on his way to five targets and a 4-27-0 line. Considering Mayfield had just seven completions and 64 passing yards, Godwin's role was indeed that of the top option in the air attack, and Sunday's game against the Falcons is almost certain to involve appreciably higher passing volume for Tampa Bay.

Tyson (hamstring) could be reinstated from injured reserve and make his season debut as soon as next Sunday versus the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Saints haven't cleared Tyson to practice since he strained his right hamstring during an Aug. 13 training camp workout, but the rookie first-round pick sounds like he could have his 21-day evaluation window opened in Week 9. Due to the length of his absence, Tyson may not be ready to play against Cleveland even if he checks out well in practice during the upcoming week, but in any case, he doesn't appear far away from making his NFL debut. Whenever he's activated, Tyson could push Devaughn Vele for the No. 2 receiver role behind top target Chris Olave.

Granson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The sixth-year tight end will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive game and the sixth time this season. The Titans are on a bye for Week 9, so his next opportunity to suit up is Week 10 against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 15. That said, Granson is unlikely to see the field unless there is an absence ahead of him on the tight end depth chart.

Patrick (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Raiders.

Patrick spent the first four regular-season games on injured reserve. He appeared in the Jets' last three contests, though he will be a healthy scratch for the Week 8 meeting with Las Vegas. The 32-year-old has only three catches during the 2026 campaign, so his absence won't open up extra targets for others.

Franklin-Myers (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Franklin-Myers drew the questionable tag after ending Week 8 prep with consecutive limited practices, and the veteran defensive lineman has been cleared by medical staff to suit up Sunday. He has 14 tackles (six solo), including 1.5 sacks, and one pass defense through seven regular-season games, but he'll be tasked with a larger role on the defensive line in the absence of Jeffery Simmons, the latter of whom was traded to the Bears on Thursday.

Gainwell (hip) is active for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Falcons, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Reports earlier Sunday indicated Gainwell was expected to play through his hip issue, and the veteran change-of-pace back's availability is now confirmed. Gainwell logged his two lowest snap counts of the season to date in Tampa Bay's first pair of victories in Weeks 6 and 7, but he's also coming off having generated a season-high 14 carries and 88 rushing yards in the rout of the Panthers last Sunday. Nevertheless, that elevated level of involvement in the ground game was largely the byproduct of a very favorable game script, so it's likely Gainwell sees a notable reduction in touches against the Falcons, especially considering he may not be at 100 percent.

Ogletree (knee) is active Week 8 against the Jaguars.

Ogletree will get the go-ahead to suit up despite failing to log a full practice all week and even missing Friday's session entirely. The ceiling is likely capped, however, as he'll be competing against the likes of Will Mallory and Mo Alie-Cox for tight end snaps following the return of starter Tyler Warren (groin).

McCreary (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

McCreary wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday but practiced in a limited capacity Friday. As a result, the 26-year-old was listed as questionable for the divisional showdown with Minnesota, though he has since been cleared to suit up. McCreary has appeared in all six of Detroit's regular-season games in 2026, amassing 22 total tackles (17 solo), 1.0 sacks and one forced fumble.

Harden (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.

Harden was initially tagged as questionable due to a hamstring injury that he sustained against the Titans in Week 7, but he's been cleared to play Sunday after recovering over the weekend and going through pregame warmups without suffering a setback. The third-year pro has accumulated 25 tackles (13 solo) and six pass defenses (including one interception) through seven regular-season games.

Boettcher (groin) is inactive Week 8 against the Jaguars.

Boettcher seemed like a long shot to play despite entering the week with a "questionable" status, as he failed to take the practice field in any capacity all week. While the rookie misses his second consecutive games, Austin Ajiake and Jaylon Carlies are candidates to see extra reps at linebacker.
