  • Jaquelin Roy DT | NE

    Jaquelin Roy: Hits free agency

The Patriots did not extend a restricted free-agent tender to Roy (undisclosed) by Wednesday's deadline, making him a free agent, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

Roy missed the entire 2025 season due to an undisclosed injury but is now presumably healthy and ready to search for a new landing spot in the NFL. He logged six regular-season appearances (one start) with New England in 2024, totaling 17 tackles (12 solo), including 2.0 sacks, in that span.

  • Alex Austin DB | NE

Dolphins' Alex Austin: Inks deal with Miami

Austin and the Dolphins agreed to terms on a one-year contract Wednesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Austin mostly served on special teams for the Patriots during the 2025 regular season, finishing with 13 tackles (10 solo) and one pass defense across 12 games. He'll likely reprise that role in Miami while also providing depth in the secondary.

  • Evan Neal OT | NYG

Giants' Evan Neal: Re-signs with Giants

Neal (neck) and the Giants agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Neal did not appear in a regular-season game for the Giants in 2025. He landed on injured reserve in mid-November due to a hamstring injury but suffered back and neck injuries while attempting to return from IR. Neal has appeared in only 29 regular-season games (27 starts) since being selected by the Giants with the No. 7 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. He'll likely operate in a rotational role in 2026.

  • Ben VanSumeren RB | PHI

Ben VanSumeren: Not tendered as RFA

The Eagles did not tender VanSumeren (knee) as a restricted free agent Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

VanSumeren will therefore become an unrestricted free agent. The fullback tore his patella tendon on the opening kickoff of the Eagles' Week 1 game against the Cowboys last season.

  • Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Officially signs with Cleveland

Jenkins (ankle) and the Browns agreed to terms on a contract Wednesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.

Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com on Tuesday, the contract is a two-year deal worth $24 million. Jenkins spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Packers. He was named to the NFC Pro Bowl roster in 2020 and 2022 and started at center for the first nine games of the 2025 regular season before he suffered a season-ending fractured ankle in Week 10 against the Eagles. The Browns have committed significant resources to improving their offensive line by signing Jenkins, Tytus Howard and Zion Johnson.

  • Mike Brown SAF | TEN

Patriots' Mike Brown: Heading to New England

The Patriots signed Brown (ankle) to a contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Brown appeared in nine regular-season games for the Titans in 2025 and had two stints on injured reserve due to knee and ankle injuries. He served almost exclusively on special teams and logged three solo tackles for Tennessee last year. Brown's addition gives the Patriots added depth in the secondary and another contributor on special teams.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Technically under contract still

The void date on Goedert's contract has been pushed back to Friday, giving him two extra days to discuss an extension with the Eagles, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Goedert can still re-sign with Philadelphia after the deal voids, but it'll help the team for cap purposes if they agree to something before the tight end officially becomes a free agent. It sounds like Goedert prefers to stay with the only NFL team he's ever known.

  • Julian Hill TE | MIA

Patriots' Julian Hill: Leaves Miami for division rival

Hill agreed to terms Wednesday on a three-year contract with the Patriots, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Hill fits with New England as a depth option and blocker behind starting tight end Hunter Henry, a role opened up by the departure of Austin Hooper to Atlanta. Regardless of the change of scenery, Hill's realistic realm of outcomes for 2026 likely doesn't include attaining fantasy relevance, as across 14 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2025 he managed only 150 receiving yards (a career high). That said, at 6-foot-4, 251 pounds, Hill could emerge as an option for quarterback Drake Maye in the red zone.

  • Deneric Prince: Not tendered by New England

Prince (undisclosed) was not tendered an offer as an exclusive rights free agent by New England on Wednesday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

Prince spent the entire 2025 campaign on injured reserve and hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2023 with the Chiefs. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere.

  • Isaiah Iton DE | NE

Isaiah Iton: Not tendered by New England

The Patriots did not place a tender offer on Iton (hip) on Wednesday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

Iton spent the entire 2025 season on injured reserve due to a hip injury he likely picked up during training camp in August. The Rutgers product has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game since signing with the Titans as an undrafted free agent in May of 2024.
