  • Ronnie Stanley OT | BAL

Ravens' Ronnie Stanley: Good to go against Miami

Stanley (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.

Stanley had his practice reps limited during the shortened week while working through an ankle injury, and his full participation in Wednesday's walkthrough indicates that he will start at left tackle against the Dolphins on Sunday.

  • Johnny Newton DT | WAS

Commanders' Jer'Zhan Newton: Held out of Wednesday's practice

Newton (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Newton tweaked his ankle during the Commanders' Week 8 loss to the Chiefs, but he was able to return and finished with four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble. He's still working through the injury, so his practice participation over the next two days will be worth monitoring heading into Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

  • Falcons' Billy Bowman: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Bowman (hamstring) was a limited participant in Atlanta's practice Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Bowman was sidelined for the past three games but managed to return to practice Wednesday, albeit in a limited capacity. If he ends up being good to go for Sunday's matchup versus New England, the 22-year-old will likely resume his role as the team's starting slot cornerback.

  • Isaiah Rodgers CB | MIN

Vikings' Isaiah Rodgers: Lands on injury report

Rodgers (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday.

Rodgers turned in a solid effort in Thursday's loss to the Chargers, though he likely suffered the injury in the contest. He is a key part of the Minnesota secondary, so his status for the rest of the week will be worth monitoring ahead of a Week 9 showdown against Detroit.

  • Derwin James FS | LAC

Chargers' Derwin James: Logs limited practice Wednesday

James (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

James is rehabbing through a low ankle sprain that he picked up during the Chargers' Week 8 victory over the Vikings. His ability to practice Wednesday -- albeit in a limited capacity -- indicates the injury isn't a long-term issue, and he'll have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation to avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Titans. James tallied at least seven tackles in five of the seven games prior to his injury in Week 8, and his 49 stops through eight regular-season games is second most on the Chargers behind Daiyan Henley (52).

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Chargers' Will Dissly: Under the weather

Dissly did not practice Wednesday due to an illness.

Dissly will have two more opportunities to recover enough to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. He was a healthy scratch for Week 8 against the Vikings, so there's no guarantee that he would be active for Week 9 even if he recovered enough to avoid an injury designation. Dissly appears to have been phased out of the Chargers' offensive gameplan due to the emergence of rookie fifth-rounder Oronde Gadsden, while Tucker Fisk and Tyler Conklin provide depth at tight end.

  • Vikings' Jonathan Greenard: Limited to begin week

Greenard (ankle) turned in a limited practice Wednesday.

Greenard played only 68 percent of defensive snaps in Minnesota's Week 8 loss to the Chargers, perhaps an indication that he got dinged up in the contest. It's positive that he was able to practice in any capacity, but his status will be worth monitoring ahead of a key Week 9 divisional matchup against the Lions.

  • Falcons' Jessie Bates: Limited in practice

Bates (knee) was a limited participant in Atlanta's practice Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Bates is considered to be day-to-day after suffering a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 8 loss to the Dolphins. His status in Thursday and Friday's practice sessions should provide more clarity on his availability for Sunday's matchup versus the Patriots. If the 28-year-old ends up being unable to play, DeMarcco Hellams would likely start at safety in his place.

  • Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel: Looks ready for return

Van Ginkel (neck) logged a full practice session Wednesday.

Van Ginkel has suited up only twice this season, most recently missing each of Minnesota's last four games. This marks the first time that he's practiced in full in that span, setting him up to return for a key Week 9 showdown against the Lions.

  • Lions' Malcolm Rodriguez: Limited on estimated report

The Lions listed Rodriguez (knee) as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

The Lions opened Rodriguez's 21-day practice window Monday as he enters the final stage of his recovery from torn ACL that he suffered last November. Wednesday's report was an estimate as a practice wasn't held, so Thursday's session will be his first opportunity for on-field reps since his injury. Per NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, Rodriguez is gearing up to make his 2025 debut against the Eagles in Week 11.
