Sturdivant has made Green Bay's initial 53-man roster, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The undrafted free agent out of Florida impressed the coaching staff with 112 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Packers' preseason finale. Sturdivant is likely to be limited to a depth role out of the gate, as Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden seem secure in the top three spots on the wide receiver depth chart.

The Packers waived Neyor on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Neyor signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January but was unable to impress enough throughout the offseason to earn a roster spot. The 25-year-old spent last season on Green Bay's practice squad and could do so once again during the upcoming campaign should he go unclaimed on waivers.

Johnson was released by the Titans on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Johnson lasted just 11 days in Tennessee before being released as part of the team's cut-down to 53 players on the roster. The 30-year-old running back has 103 games of regular-season experience, so Johnson could be called upon by a team later in the season if backfield injuries strike, even if he's unable to find a landing spot immediately.

Johnson was released by the Bengals on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The veteran of 14 NFL teams signed with Cincinnati in March to compete for a backup role behind Joe Burrow, but he found himself the odd man out next to fellow veteran signing Joe Flacco and developmental prospect Sean Clifford. Johnson saw action in five regular-season games and on 137 offensive snaps for Washington last year, completing 63 percent of his passes for 372 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

The Packers waived Prather on Sunday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Prather signed with the team in July but was unable to earn a roster spot. The 23-year-old was selected by the Bills in the seventh round of the 2025 Draft but ended up spending his rookie season in the UFL with the Louisville Kings. He will now look to catch on with another team and make his regular-season debut.

Pierce was let go by the Eagles on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pierce failed to make Philadelphia's 53-man roster, but the Eagles would like to add him to their practice squad if he doesn't get a chance on a roster elsewhere. The 2022 fourth-round pick of the Texans has been unable to recapture the magic of his rookie campaign, when Pierce rushed for 939 yards in the regular season. He has only 745 regular-season rushing yards across three subsequent campaigns.

Nixon was waived by the Packers on Sunday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

The running back recorded 13 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown during the preseason, but he still found himself behind Josh Jacobs (groin), MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks on the depth chart, and Green Bay also traded for Kaleb Johnson, a 2025 third-round pick of the Steelers, on Sunday. Nonetheless, due to his strong preseason performance, Nixon is a candidate to return to the Packers as a member of their practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Jaguars waived Boyd on Sunday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Boyd was unable to impress enough to earn a roster spot after having signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in April. The 24-year-old will now look to catch on with another team.

Smyth was waived by the Saints on Sunday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Smyth served as the Saints' kicker for the final six games of the 2025 regular season, but he has failed to make the team heading into the 2026 campaign. Even with Smyth out of the mix, the Saints still have two options left at kicker in Daniel Carlson and Tanner Brown. Per Triplett's colleague Nick Underhill, the Saints intend to keep Smyth on the practice squad if another team doesn't sign him.

The Chiefs waived Loyd on Sunday, Jesse Newell of The Athletic reports.

Loyd's tenure with the Chiefs has seemingly come to an end after he joined the team as an undrafted free agent in May following a successful tryout. He will now look to catch on with another team.
