The Jaguars placed Mekari (back) on injured reserve with a designation to return Sunday.

Mekari will be required to miss at least the first four games of the regular season, meaning Week 5 against the Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 11 is the earliest he can play. The California product is recovering from back surgery that he underwent in mid-August. Ezra Cleveland is in line to start at right guard for as long as Mekari is out of action.

Crum (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return by the Broncos on Sunday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

The offensive tackle can return for Denver's Week 5 matchup with the Chargers at the earliest. Crum suffered a leg injury during the Broncos' second preseason against the Packers and missed the last week of training camp. The third-year pro projects as a depth tackle even when healthy.

The Packers moved Riley (Achilles) from the active/PUP list to the reserve/PUP list on Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.

Riley suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 17 of the 2025 regular season. The defensive tackle will continue to work his way back from the issue through the beginning of the 2026 regular season. Even if Riley quickly regains his health, the 28-year-old must miss the first four weeks of the season on the reserve/PUP list before becoming eligible to return to the active roster.

The Texans placed Gaye (knee) on injured reserve Sunday.

Gaye suffered a severe knee injury during the Texans' joint practice against the Panthers this past Wednesday. He will likely shift his attention toward being fully healthy for the 2027 campaign.

The Lions moved Manu (knee) to the reserve/non-football injury list Sunday.

Manu continues to recover from a knee injury he sustained in October of 2025. He's required to miss at least the first four games of the regular season, meaning the earliest he can return is Week 5 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Oct. 11.

The Bears placed Fields (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday with a designation to return.

Fields is set to be the primary backup edge rusher for the Bears in 2026. The linebacker signed with the Bears in June after being out of the league in 2025. As a result of Sunday's transaction, Fields will now need to wait at least another four regular-season games to see any game action.

Green Bay reverted Yassmin (undisclosed) to injured reserve Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Yassmin was waived/injured Sunday and went unclaimed on waivers. The Australian tight end has yet to play in an NFL game and will miss the entire 2026 season while on IR unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Packers.

The Bears placed Jones (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday with a designation to return.

It is unclear when exactly Jones suffered his injury. The cornerback will now need to miss at least the first four games of the regular season before he is eligible to return to the Bears' active roster. With Jones sidelined, Clark Phillips is set to be the primary backup at outside cornerback as long as Jaylon Johnson (arm) and Tyrique Stevenson (leg) are healthy enough to start.

Castles (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Packers on Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.

The tight end was waived/injured a day earlier and reverted to IR early Monday. The settlement indicates that his injury is not serious and that he might be able to play in 2026 if he can find another opportunity. Castles saw action in all three of Green Bay's preseason games but did not record a catch.

The Panthers placed Martin-Scott (hamstring) on injured reserve with a designation to return Sunday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Martin-Scott picked up a hamstring injury during training camp practice, preventing him from playing in the Panthers' preseason finale against the Texans on Friday. The injury is severe enough for the South Carolina product to start the regular season on IR, meaning he won't be eligible to play until at least Week 6 against the Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 18. Martin-Scott mostly served on special teams for the Panthers in 2025, finishing with 21 tackles (seven solo) and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season games.
