The Packers waived/injured Yassmin (undisclosed) on Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.

Yassmin signed with the Packers in late July through the NFL's International Player Pathway program. The tight end participated in the Packers' first two preseason games, catching his sole target for six yards. The Australian missed Friday's preseason finale due to an unknown injury and will now be placed on waivers. If Yassmin goes unclaimed, he will revert to the Packers' injured reserve list. Once on IR, the tight end will spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season there unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Musgrave (neck) was moved to the reserve/PUP list Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.

Musgrave missed the entirety of the preseason while on the active/PUP list with a neck injury that he suffered during OTAs in June. The oft-injured tight end will now be forced to miss at least four contests to open the regular season. In his absence, newly acquired veteran Jonnu Smith will likely operate as the primary backup behind starting tight end Tucker Kraft (knee).

The Packers signed Castles in early August after waiving him in late April. The tight end participated in all three preseason games for the Packers but did not show up in the box score. Castles will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will revert to the Packers' injured reserve list. If the 26-year-old reverts to IR, he will spend the entirety of the 2026 season there unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Jefferson will be a member of the Chargers' initial 53-man roster, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jefferson will ultimately stick around with the Chargers after it was reported that he was released earlier in the day. The team opened up a pair of roster spots by making some trades Sunday, so the safety won't be packing his bags. Jefferson played in 13 regular-season contests with Los Angeles last season, compiling 57 total tackles (37 solo) and seven passes defensed, including a career-high four interceptions.

The Jets placed Payne (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday with a designation to return, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Payne suffered an unknown issue in early August that was set to sideline him for three to four weeks. The free safety's timeline appears to have been extended, and Payne will need to miss the first four games of the season at least before he is eligible to return to the Jets' active roster from IR.

Cooper suffered a shoulder injury during Friday's preseason finale against the Giants. The rookie sixth-rounder is set to be a primary piece of depth for the Jets' offensive line throughout 2026. Cooper will be required to miss at least the first four games of the regular season until he is eligible to return to the Jets' active roster.
