  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Crushes short-handed Ravens

Stroud completed 23 of 27 passes for 244 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 44-10 win over the Ravens. He added one rush for 30 yards.

Stroud faced a thinned version of the Baltimore defense that was missing Kyle Hamilton (groin), Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring) in its secondary alone. He took advantage of the good spot, throwing more than three touchdowns for only the second time in his career while completing three passes of at least 20 yards. Stroud was ultimately pulled early in the fourth quarter due to the game being a blowout, but it was a positive fantasy performance and also a good showing for the Houston offense overall.

  • Jared Verse DE | CLE

Rams' Jared Verse: Six tackles vs. San Francisco

Verse registered six tackles (four solo) during the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Verse played a season-high 74 defensive snaps Thursday, though he wasn't able to extend his sack streak to three games. He's logged at least five tackles in each of his last three games, and the 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year has 22 tackles (14 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles through the first five games of the regular season.

  • Byron Young LB | LAR

Rams' Byron Young: Logs half sack in Week 5 OT loss

Young tallied six tackles (four solo), including 0.5 sacks, during the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday.

Young logged a sack in each of the first four games of the regular season, and he extended his streak to five games in overtime after combining with Kobie Turner on a nine-yard takedown of Mac Jones, which led to a 49ers field goal two plays later. Young has opened the regular season with 29 tackles (19 solo), including 5.5 sacks, and one forced fumble through five games.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Over century mark in loss

Waddle brought in six of nine targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 27-24 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

In his first full game this season without Tyreek Hill (IR, knee) alongside him, Waddle stepped up as expected and led the Dolphins across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The talented veteran had another couple of close calls downfield that could have resulted in an even bigger day, but as it was, Waddle posted new season highs in catches, receiving yards and targets. He also recorded his third touchdown of the season on a go-ahead 46-yard grab with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, making it a productive all-around day despite the disappointing team outcome. Waddle will aim to put together a successful encore performance in a tough Week 6 home matchup against the Chargers next Sunday afternoon.

  • Kamren Curl SAF | LAR

Rams' Kamren Curl: Seven tackles in Week 5 loss

Curl logged seven tackles (four solo) during Thursday's 26-23 overtime loss to San Francisco.

Curl played all but one of the Rams' 86 defensive snaps in Thursday's loss and finished tied with Poona Ford for the third most tackles on the team behind Nate Landman (14) and Quentin Lake (11). Curl has registered at least seven tackles in each of the first five games of the regular season and has accumulated 42 tackles (26 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass defenses (including two interceptions).

  • Quentin Lake SAF | LAR

Rams' Quentin Lake: Logs double-digit tackles Week 5

Lake finished Thursday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers with 11 tackles (seven solo) and one pass defense.

Lake reached double-digit tackles for the first time this season, but he finished second on the Rams in tackles behind Nate Landman (14). Lake has played every defensive snap in each of the first five games of the regular season and has accumulated 33 tackles (19 solo) and six pass defenses.

  • Nate Landman LB | LAR

Rams' Nate Landman: Career-high 14 tackles vs. Niners

Landman registered 14 tackles (eight solo) and three pass defenses during the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday.

Landman was all over the field in Thursday's loss, playing 90 snaps (82 on defense, eight on special teams) while leading the Rams in total tackles, solo tackles and pass defenses. Landman saw his playing time fluctuate in 2024 with the Falcons, but he has played at least 90 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps in each of the first five games of the regular season and has emerged as a key piece to the defense. He has 41 tackles (22 solo), four pass defenses, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries this season.

  • Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Leads air attack again Sunday

McMillan brought in six of eight targets for 73 yards in the Panthers' 27-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

McMillan led the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets in what is becoming a customary occurrence for the talented rookie. The 2025 first-round pick equaled his career high in receptions while posting his second-highest yardage total to date, and he recorded multiple catches of 20-plus yards for the third time in five contests. The chemistry between McMillan and Bryce Young continues to grow by the game, and the duo will draw a favorable matchup at home against the Cowboys in Week 6 next Sunday afternoon.

  • Trey Pipkins OT | LAC

Chargers' Trey Pipkins: Questionable to return

Pipkins (knee) is questionable to return to the Chargers' matchup versus the Commanders on Sunday.

Pipkins sustained the injury in the first half, leaving his status for the rest of the matchup up in the air. Jamaree Salyer should fill in at right tackle if Pipkins ends up being unable to return to the game.

  • Cooper Rush QB | ATL

Ravens' Cooper Rush: Picked off three times

Rush completed 14 of 20 passes for 179 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans.

Rush led the Ravens on a decent first drive that resulted in a field goal, completing all five of his pass attempts for 59 yards. Things imploded from there, however, as the Ravens turned in consecutive three-and-outs to end the first half before Rush threw three picks in the final two quarters. The one positive is that Rush was able to complete a long pass to Zay Flowers, salvaging the star receiver's fantasy day. Rush could be lined up for a Week 6 start against the Rams, pending Lamar Jackson's (hamstring) recovery.
