The Texans are slated to waive Pryor, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pryor spent much of last season on Houston's practice squad, then signed a reserve/future deal with the team in January. He saw action in all three of the team's preseason contests and caught two of five targets for 19 yards. Pryor is a candidate to return to the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

The Ravens are waiving Braham, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.

An undrafted rookie signing of Baltimore back in May, Braham officially logged 20 offensive snaps across three preseason games, but he wasn't targeted and otherwise didn't make any marks in box scores. If he goes through waivers unclaimed, he could be in line to land on a team's practice squad.

The Texans are set to waive Vaughn, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Vaughn's time with the Texans was brief, as he signed a contract with the team less than a week ago. In his only preseason appearance, he rushed 12 times for 36 yards and caught both of his targets for six yards. Vaughn is a candidate to catch on with Houston's practice squad if he goes through waivers unclaimed.

The Ravens released Ward on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Ward ended last season on Baltimore's practice squad and returned to the team in mid-August. He played in two preseason games, rushing 17 times for 88 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for a 15-yard gain. According to Wilson, Ward could end up back on Baltimore's practice squad.

The Giants waived Bankston on Saturday.

Since joining New York as an undrafted rookie in May, Bankston ended up ranking second on the team in rushing (73 yards on 21 carries) this preseason behind Eric Gray (90 yards). It wasn't enough for Bankston to land on the Giants' initial 53-man roster, but he will be a candidate to land on a team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Giants waived Prentice on Saturday.

Prentice joined the Panthers as an undrafted rookie in May but was cut by the team at the start of training camp. Since then, he spent time with the Patriots and Giants before the current transaction. Assuming he goes through waivers unclaimed, he may be destined for a team's practice squad.

Houston waived Hansen on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hansen joined the Texans as an undrafted free agent in early June and saw action in two preseason contests, catching both of his targets for seven yards. Per Wilson, Hansen made a positive impression during training camp and has a chance to be a part of Houston's practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

The Giants cut Hodgins on Saturday.

Hodgins had some moments between 2022 and 2023 with the Giants, a span in which he tallied a 54-581-7 line on 85 targets across 25 regular-season games. Since then, he's been limited to 12 catches (on 21 targets) in five appearances with New York. Now that he's a free agent, he'll be eligible to sign elsewhere immediately.

The Jets cut Zappe on Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Zappe signed with New York on a reserve/future contract in January and entered training camp with a legitimate shot to win the No. 2 QB job. However, he struggled during preseason play, completing just 14 of 23 passes for 135 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Zappe's departure means that either Cade Klubnik or Brady Cook will serve as Geno Smith's backup when the regular season kicks off.

The Giants released Deguara on Saturday.

Since his rookie contract with the Packers ran out after the 2023 season, Deguara has split time between the Jaguars and Cardinals the last two years, combining for six catches (on eight targets) for 35 yards and one TD in 27 regular-season appearances. He then joined the 49ers at the start of training camp but was cut Monday before joining the Giants, playing preseason Week 3 and then getting cut again.
