Andrew Wingard SAF | ARI
Cardinals' Andrew Wingard: Dealing with bone bruise
Wingard suffered a bone bruise in his knee during Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Wingard was carted off the field in the first half of the team defeat, and he was ultimately unable to return to the contest. The safety avoided a ligament injury, but his timeline to return to action is currently uncertain. Wingard has compiled 23 total tackles (10 solo), an interception and a forced fumble over four contests to open the season, and in his absence, Wydett Williams will stand to operate in a prominent role in Arizona's secondary.

Brandon Cisse CB | GB
Packers' Brandon Cisse: Fades concussion protocol
Cisse (neck) was not placed in the league's concussion protocol following Sunday's 17-14 win over the Buccaneers, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Cisse also suffered a neck injury during Sunday's game, but the good news for the rookie second-rounder is that he passed tests to avoid being moved into concussion protocol. Head coach Matt LaFleur does not view Cisse's neck injury as a long-term issue, so the 21-year-old cornerback could be available for Week 5 against the Bears, depending on what his practice participation looks like over the coming days.

Nick Bosa DE | SF
49ers' Nick Bosa: Likely won't suit up for Week 5
Bosa (calf) is unlikely to be ready for the 49ers' Week 5 matchup against the Seahawks, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Bosa remains week-to-week with a calf injury and is not expected to be ready for Sunday's divisional matchup. The star defensive end will likely once again ride the bench as Ogbo Okoronkwo starts across from Keion White against the Super Bowl 60 champs.

Marques Sigle SAF | SF
49ers' Marques Sigle: Set to miss multiple weeks
Sigle is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a high-ankle injury that he sustained during the 49ers' 24-14 win over the Broncos on Sunday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Sigle sustained the injury late in the first quarter while on kickoff coverage and was not on the field for the 49ers' final defensive drive of the game. It wouldn't be surprising if the second-year pro goes on injured reserve, and in his absence, Malik Mustapha figures to be the next man up at safety next to Ji'Ayir Brown, with Siran Neal and Ashtyn Davis both providing depth at the position.

Dante Trader Jr. SAF | MIA
Dolphins' Dante Trader: Avoids major injury
Trader (knee) is considered day-to-day ahead of Week 5, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
Trader suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 15-10 loss to Minnesota, and he was briefly sidelined before returning to action. The safety registered five total tackles (three solo) during the contest, and his status at Wednesday's first practice of the week will shed more light on his availability for the team's matchup with the Bengals in Week 5.

Decobie Durant CB | DAL
Cowboys' Cobie Durant: Expected to miss TNF
Durant (hamstring) is expected to miss Thursday's game against the Bucs, Patrik Walker of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Durant was injured in the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the Commanders and appears set to miss his third straight contest, as the short week is doing him no favors. With the addition of Joey Porter last week, he and DaRon Bland handled outside cornerback duties against the Texans, with Reddy Steward covering the slot.

Konata Mumpfield WR | LAR
Rams' Konata Mumpfield: Dealing with shoulder issue
Mumpfield suffered a rotator cuff contusion during Sunday's 24-20 win over the Eagles, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Mumpfield briefly exited the game before returning to the field, and head coach Sean McVay and the team don't appear to be overly worried about the injury. With Puka Nacua returning to action Sunday, Mumpfield saw only three targets, reeling in one catch for seven yards in the victory.

Jeshaun Jones WR | MIN
Jeshaun Jones: Let go by Minnesota
The Vikings waived Jones on Monday.
Jones served a three-game suspension to begin the 2026 regular season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. The wide receiver suited up for the Vikings' Week 4 win over the Dolphins but did not play a single snap in the contest. Jones will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent who can sign with any franchise.

Jaelan Phillips LB | CAR
Panthers' Jaelan Phillips: Targets Week 6 return
Phillips (hamstring) could return to the Panthers' lineup as early as the Week 6 game against the Buccaneers, Mike Kaye of ESPN.com reported Monday.
Phillips sustained a hamstring injury in the Panthers' Week 4 win over the Rams. The strongside linebacker is week-to-week with the injury but has only been preliminarily ruled out of the team's Week 5 contest against the Eagles. Princely Umanmielen or Trevis Gipson will likely start at strongside linebacker opposite Patrick Jones in Phillips' absence.

Carlos Washington Jr. RB | MIA
Carlos Washington: Cut loose by Miami
Washington was waived by the Dolphins on Monday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Washington was signed to the active roster with Miami on Saturday after opening the season as a member of the team's practice squad. The running back didn't see any action in the Dolphins' 15-10 loss to Minnesota on Sunday, and he will now be placed on waivers. If Washington goes unclaimed, there's a good chance that he returns to Miami's practice squad.
