  • Bobby Wagner MLB | WAS

Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Estimated as DNP

Wagner (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report.

Wagner has been playing through the knee issue for weeks and has yet to miss a start this season. Through 15 games, the veteran linebacker has piled up 147 tackles (73 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and three pass breakups, including a pair of interceptions, on 99 percent of the Commanders' defensive snaps.

  • Daron Payne NT | WAS

Commanders' Daron Payne: Estimated as DNP on Monday

Payne (back) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report.

The Commanders held a walkthrough Monday after losing to the Eagles on Saturday. The veteran defensive lineman hasn't missed a game to injury since the 2019 campaign. Through 14 contests this season, Payne has recorded 42 tackles (17 solo), including 2.0 sacks, five pass breakups and one forced fumble.

  • Chiefs' Tyquan Thornton: Listed as DNP again

Thornton (concussion) was listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report.

Both Thornton and fellow WR Rashee Rice have yet to log any on-field work since emerging from Week 15 action with concussions. As a result, it appears a stretch for either player to gain clearance from an independent neurologist ahead of Thursday's game against the Broncos. Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Nikko Remigio and Jalen Royals are the Chiefs' current healthy options at the position.

  • Rashee Rice WR | KC

Chiefs' Rashee Rice: DNP again Monday

Rice (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate.

Rice entered the concussion protocol last week and hasn't logged any on-field work, real or otherwise, since then. With just three days remaining before Thursday's matchup with the Broncos, he seems like a stretch to gain clearance from an independent neurologist to be able to suit up for Week 17 action. Fellow WR Tyquan Thornton (concussion) also was listed as a DNP on Monday, so the Chiefs' current healthy options at the position are Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Nikko Remigio and Jalen Royals.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited on Monday's estimate

Jones (ankle) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.

Jones exited in the first quarter of Sunday's 16-13 win over the Giants with an ankle injury, but he subsequently returned en route to carrying 21 times for 85 yards and catching two of his three targets for eight yards. His listed limitations Monday are likely maintenance-related, and at this stage there's nothing to suggest that Jones will miss Thursday's game against the Lions. Meanwhile, fellow RB Jordan Mason, who didn't return to Sunday's contest after sustaining an ankle injury, was listed as a non-participant Monday.

  • J.J. McCarthy QB | MIN

Vikings' J.J. McCarthy: 'DNP' on practice estimate

McCarthy (hand) was deemed a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.

McCarthy, who left Sunday's 16-13 win over the Giants with an injury to his right throwing hand, thus has two more chances to upgrade his listed participation level ahead of Thursday's game against the Lions. In the event that McCarthy is unavailable for the contest, Max Brosmer would be in line to draw the start at QB for the Vikings in his place.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Mason: Listed as DNP on Monday

Mason (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report.

Both Mason and Aaron Jones left the Vikings' first possession of Sunday's win at the Giants due to ankle injuries, and while Jones was able to return and finish out the contest, Mason was ruled out not long after his initial exit. Minnesota didn't hold practice Monday ahead of Thursday's game against the Lions, but Mason appears in danger of logging his first absence of the season.

  • T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN

Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Estimated as non-participant

Hockenson (shoulder) is listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.

The Vikings didn't officially practice Monday, but Hockenson is dealing with a shoulder injury that would've prevented him from participating had the team handled on-field reps. The starting tight end played 76 percent of the offensive snaps during Minnesota's win over the Giants in Week 16, though he secured his only target for two yards during that contest. With J.J. McCarthy (hand) now looking uncertain for Thursday's divisional matchup against the Lions, Hockenson has to be considered a low-floor fantasy option for Week 17 even if he is cleared for action on Christmas Day.

  • Thomas Odukoya: Placed on practice-squad IR

Odukoya (undisclosed) was placed on the Patriots' practice-squad injured list Monday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

Odukoya will be forced to miss the final two games of the regular season and New England's first two playoff contests, should the Patriots advance that far. Odukoya appeared in two games for the Titans last season, playing one offensive snap.

  • Packers' John FitzPatrick: Placed on IR

The Packers placed FitzPatrick (Achilles) on injured reserve Monday.

FitzPatrick suffered a season-ending right Achilles tear during Saturday's loss to the Bears, Zach Kruse of USA Today reports. Additional testing confirmed the severity of FitzPatrick's injury Sunday. The timing of his injury could impact his availability for the start of the 2026 campaign. The depth tight end logged 15 regular-season appearances in 2025, securing 12 of 15 targets for 72 yards and one touchdown.
