Packers' John Williams: Practice window opened
Williams (back) had his 21-day practice window opened by the Packers on Wednesday, Zach Kruse of Packers Wire reports.
Williams has been sidelined since training camp while nursing a back injury, spending the entirety of the season to this point on the reserve/PUP list. The offensive lineman will have to be added to the active roster in the next 21 days, or he'll remain sidelined for the rest of the year.

Ravens' Jay Higgins: Resumes practicing
Higgins (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and logged a limited practice, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Higgins has been sidelined since Week 11 and is thus eligible to return at any point. He'll likely have to turn in a full session at some point this week to have a chance to suit up for Sunday night's game against the Patriots. Higgins is likely to return to a role on special teams.

Commanders' Laremy Tunsil: Limited practice Wednesday
Tunsil (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Tunsil was able to participate, albeit in a limited capacity, at the team's first official practice of the week. He was considered a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, but his participation one day later is a good sign for Week 16. The offensive lineman is dealing with an oblique injury, and he'll have one more opportunity to log a full practice Thursday before the team squares off with the Eagles on Saturday.

O'Neill (heel) did not practice Wednesday.
O'Neill suffered what was termed an ankle injury in Sunday night's game against Dallas. However, he was sidelined by a heel issue Wednesday, with a presumably related issue. O'Neill has two additional days to improve his outlook for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Past illness
Borom (illness) was a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
An illness prevented Borom from playing in Monday's loss to the Steelers. He appears to be past the issue given his full practice Wednesday, which puts him on track to play against the Bengals on Sunday, when he'll provide depth for the Dolphins' offensive line.

It's unclear when Kelly suffered the knee injury, though he's had an injury-plagued season, suiting up for only seven games. He has two days to improve his practice participation to have a chance to suit up Sunday against the Giants.

The Buccaneers activated Wisdom (quadriceps) from injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wisdom was placed on injured reserve in late September due to a quadriceps injury. He has fully recovered from the injury and was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, per Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site. That puts Wisdom on track to play Sunday against the Panthers, when he'll likely serve as a contributor on special teams.

Chargers' RJ Mickens: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Mickens (shoulder) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Mickens injured his shoulder during the Chargers' Week 15 win over the Chiefs. Per Kris Rhim of ESPN.com, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday that Mickens "could miss time" due to his injury. If both Mickens and Elijah Molden (hamstring) are unable to play Sunday against the Cowboys, then Tony Jefferson would be slated for another start at safety alongside Derwin James.
