  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Logs another full practice

Chandler (knee) logged a full practice Wednesday.

Chandler has been practicing for most of December after he was designated to return from injured reserve. The running back is uncertain to be activated ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Giants, but if he is, he would likely see most of his playing time on special teams.

  • Josh Metellus SAF | MIN

Vikings' Josh Metellus: Officially placed on IR

The Vikings placed Metellus (shoulder) on injured reserve Wednesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.

Metellus will undergo surgery to repair a shoulder injury with which he has played through for the Vikings' last two games, and his placement on IR confirms that he will miss the final three games of the regular season. The sixth-year safety will turn his attention toward rehabbing from his procedure and being fully healthy for the start of training camp in July of 2026.

  • Justin Reid S | NO

Saints' Justin Reid: Limited practice Wednesday

Reid (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Reid has been sidelined for the team's last two contests while dealing with a knee issue, but his ability to practice in any capacity to open the week is a positive sign for his chances to play in Week 16. The safety will have two more chances to log a full practice prior to Sunday's matchup with the Jets.

  • DaRon Bland CB | DAL

Cowboys' DaRon Bland: Dealing with foot injury

Bland did not practice Wednesday due to a foot injury, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Bland likely picked up the injury during Dallas' Week 15 loss to Minnesota, when he tallied four tackles (two solo) and one pass defense while playing 54 of 55 defensive snaps (98.2 percent). The fourth-year corner has two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.

  • Trevon Diggs CB | GB

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Limited practice Wednesday

Diggs (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Diggs has continued to participate at practice since being designated to return from injured reserve Nov. 30, but he has yet to be activated. The cornerback is approaching the end of his 21-day practice window, and if he's not activated in Week 16, he'll remain sidelined for the rest of the year.

  • Cowboys' Quinnen Williams: Dealing with concussion

Williams (concussion) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Williams is dealing with a concussion that he suffered late in the team's Week 15 loss to the Vikings, and his absence at practice to open the week doesn't come as a surprise. The defensive lineman will have to clear concussion protocol and therefore is fighting an uphill battle to being available for Week 16. Williams will have two more chances to return to practice prior to Sunday's contest against the Chargers.

  • Donovan Wilson DB | DAL

Cowboys' Donovan Wilson: Limited to open Week 16 prep

Wilson (knee/hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Wilson was able to play through a knee injury during the Cowboys' Week 15 loss, when he logged three solo tackles and one pass defense. He's still working through the knee issue and also appears to be working through a hip injury, though his ability to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity indicates that both injuries aren't considered long-term concerns. Wilson has two more opportunities to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.

  • Hunter Luepke RB | DAL

Cowboys' Hunter Luepke: DNP to open week

Luepke (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Luepke entered the league's concussion protocol during the Cowboys' Week 15 loss to the Vikings. Even if he were to return to practice over the next two days, Luepke would have to be cleared from the league's protocol by an independent neurologist in order to play Sunday against the Chargers. The Cowboys don't have another fullback on the active roster or practice squad, so they may deploy a tight end like Luke Schoonmaker or Brevyn Spann-Ford as a backfield blocker if Luepke is not cleared to play.

  • Cowboys' Shavon Revel: Limited to open week

Revel (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Revel was able to play through a knee injury in the team's Week 15 loss to the Vikings, so his ability to practice in any capacity to open the week suggests that he's doing fine. The cornerback will have two more chances to log a full practice prior to Sunday's contest against the Chargers.

  • Braden Fiske DT | LAR

Rams' Braden Fiske: Questionable for Week 16

Fiske (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's NFC West tilt against the Seahawks, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Fiske was held out of all three practices for Week 16 prep due to an ankle injury that he presumably picked up during Sunday's win over the Lions. He has been tagged as questionable despite the lack of practice, so his official status likely won't be known until approximately 90 minutes before Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Rams announce their list of inactive players. Larrell Murchison, Tyler Davis and rooke Ty Hamilton would be poised for more defensive snaps if Fiske is not cleared to play.
