  • Jimmy Holiday: Lands on Chiefs' practice squad

Kansas City signed Holiday to the practice squad Wednesday.

Holiday spent time with the Chiefs this offseason then bounced on and off the team's practice squad early in the regular season. He then landed on Seattle's practice squad late November, and the Seahawks cut him Dec. 13. Now, Holiday will resume handling an emergency depth role with Kansas City.

  • Chiefs' Nazeeh Johnson: Resumes practicing

The Chiefs announced Wednesday that Johnson (shoulder) had his practice window opened to return from IR..

Johnson has missed the entire regular season thus far due to a shoulder injury sustained during Kansas City's second preseason contest. Now, he'll have a 21-day window to resume practicing without counting against the 53-man roster, wherein he can be activated at any time. If Johnson manages to return to action this season, he'll stand to handle a rotational role on defense.

  • Gunnar Helm TE | TEN

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Limited with toe injury

Helm (toe) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Helm impressed in Week 15, securing all four of his targets for 49 yards and a touchdown, though he briefly had to leave the field due to a toe injury in the process. The rookie fifth-round pick has drawn at least four targets in four of his last five appearances and established himself as a reliable part of Tennessee's passing game alongside fellow tight end Chig Okonkwo.

  • Chiefs' Jake Briningstool: Practice window opens

The Chiefs announced Wednesday that Briningstool (hamstring) had his practice window opened to return from IR.

Briningstool will have a 21-day window to practice without counting against the 53-man roster, and if healthy, he could be activated from IR and return to action as early as Sunday versus the Titans. The depth tight end has missed the entire regular season so far due to a hamstring injury that dates back to the start of training camp.

  • Packers' Micah Parsons: Officially placed on IR

The Packers placed Parsons (ACL) on injured reserve Wednesday.

Parsons' placement on IR comes after he sustained a season-ending torn left ACL during Green Bay's loss to the Broncos in Week 15. In his inaugural campaign with the Packers, Parsons appeared in 14 regular-season contests and racked up 41 tackles (19 solo) including 12.5 sacks. He also had one pass defensed and two forced fumbles. Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that Parsons isn't expected to be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign, but it's possible he could miss only the first three games of the regular season based on the usual recovery timetable for Green Bay players who undergo ACL reconstruction procedures.

  • Drake London WR | ATL

Falcons' Drake London: Limited in return to practice

London (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

London has missed the past four games due to a PCL sprain in his left knee, but his return to practice Wednesday was preceded by coach Raheem Morris telling Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com that the wide receiver now is considered "day-to-day." London will have two more chances to mix into drills this week to prove his health ahead of Sunday's contest at Arizona.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Not practicing

    Lloyd (calf/hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur recently hinted that Lloyd is unlikely to play this season. The running back injured his calf while rehabbing from a hamstring injury and then tweaked the hamstring once his calf got better. That's about how things have gone for Lloyd through two pro seasons.

  • Terrel Bernard LB | BUF

Bills' Terrel Bernard: Limited to begin Week 16

Bernard (elbow) was limited in Wednesday's walk-through practice.

Bernard wasn't able to practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Buffalo's win over the Patriots in Week 15, so he's healthier to begin preparations for Sunday's road game against the Browns. If Bernard is able to get back on the field versus Cleveland, he'll be a fringe fantasy asset in IDP formats.

  • Bills' Christian Benford: Listed as limited

Benford (toe) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.

Benford was unable to suit up for Buffalo's win over New England in Week 15. He didn't practice last Friday, so getting in at least limited on-field reps to begin Week 16 is a tangible step in the right direction. Benford will have two more chances to upgrade to full practice reps ahead of Sunday's game against Cleveland.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Limited practice Wednesday

Wicks (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.

Wicks was sidelined for Tuesday's walkthrough, so his ability to mix into drills one day later is a step in the right direction ahead of Saturday's game in Chicago. Ultimately, Thursday's practice report will reveal whether or not he's tagged with a designation for Week 16 action.
