Price carried the ball five times for 15 yards and caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Commanders.

The Seahawks' running game continues to struggle, and Price's inability to make a consistent impact is causing him to lose touches. After seeing double-digit carries in each of his first two NFL games, the rookie's six touches trailed both Emanuel Wilson (nine carries) and George Holani (three totes and five catches). The chest injury Price suffered in Week 2 may have played a role in that distribution, but he hadn't topped 60 scrimmage yards or found the end zone in either of the first two weeks. With Zach Charbonnet (knee) getting closer to his 2026 debut, time may be running out for Price to establish himself in the lead role before the backfield gets even more crowded. He'll try to get going in a Week 4 home tilt against the Chargers.

Jennings has a knee injury and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.

The linebacker recorded three tackles (two solo) and a pass breakup before exiting. Jennings played more on special teams than defense in New Orleans' first two games.

Smith-Njigba caught 10 of 14 targets for 128 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Commanders.

Having Sam Darnold back under center instead of Drew Lock did nothing to slow Smith-Njigba's momentum. The superstar wideout recorded his third straight game with more than 120 receiving yards while hauling in his fifth and sixth TDs of the season, catching a one-yard toss in the second quarter and an 11-yard strike in the fourth. Smith-Njigba will take an eye-popping 27-405-6 line on 36 targets into a Week 4 clash at home against the Chargers.

Mayfield left the field accompanied by training staff in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Vikings after sustaining an apparent hand injury, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

To add insult to injury, Mayfield was intercepted on a fourth-down pass in a one-possession game in the fourth quarter on the play during which he sustained the injury. He stayed down after the play and eventually got up holding his right thumb. Rookie backup Jalon Daniels replaced Mayfield on the following drive, per Greg Auman of Fox Sports. Mayfield threw for 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception while adding six rushing yards prior to the injury.

Darnold completed 31 of 45 passes for 379 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Commanders. He added five yards on his only carry.

Making his return from a Week 1 soft-tissue injury, Darnold put up big numbers against a shaky Washington defense as he connected for two scores with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and one each to Cooper Kupp and Eric Saubert. However, Darnold's two INTs both came in the second half and led directly to 14 points for the Commanders, including a 50-yard pick-six by third-string linebacker Kain Medrano that proved to be the game-winning score. Darnold will look to clean things up in a Week 4 home tilt against the Chargers.

Oliver (arm) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Oliver went to the locker room during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game and was promptly ruled out after being evaluated by medical staff. Gavin Bartholomew will be the top backup behind T.J. Hockenson for the rest of Sunday's game.

Kinchens (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday night's contest against Denver, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Kinchens will be forced to miss a second straight game after suffering a hamstring injury Week 1 versus San Francisco. In his absence, Josh Wallace will stand to see a larger workload at safety during Sunday Night Football.

Mims (foot) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Rams, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Despite being limited on all three of Denver's Week 3 practice reports, Mims will miss a second contest in a row due to a foot issue. His next chance to play is next Sunday at San Francisco. Kolbe Katsis likely will handle return duties in Mims' absence.

Simpson (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Rams' emergency third quarterback for Sunday night's contest against the Broncos, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Simpson will operate as the No. 3 QB for the third straight week to open the 2026 campaign. He will only be able to enter the game if both starter Matthew Stafford and top backup Stetson Bennett suffer injuries.

Herbert completed 20 of 34 passes for 226 yards with one touchdown and one interception and rushed four times for 17 yards in the Chargers' 24-16 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Herbert finished with some serviceable numbers, but his play-to-play consistency lacked at times in a tough road environment. The 2020 first-round pick connected with a relatively narrow pool of six targets, and his one touchdown throw came via a shovel pass to Keaton Mitchell to cap off the opening drive of the game. Herbert also saw what was originally ruled a lost fumble returned for a touchdown reversed just before the two-minute warning, and through three games, he's completed only 59.1 percent of his passes while mustering a 3:4 TD:INT during an alarmingly winless start to the season for the Chargers. Herbert and his teammates draw a second straight unenviable assignment in Week 4, as they travel to face the defending champion Seahawks next Sunday afternoon.
