Jalen Carter DT | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Carter: Sheds injury tag for Week 2
Carter (wrist) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's road game against the Titans.
Carter finished the week with a DNP/LP/LP practice log while working through a wrist injury that he picked up during the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Commanders. Despite the lack of a full practice, the fourth-year defensive lineman has been given the green light to play Week 2. He'll be tasked with plugging the middle against the Titans' rushing attack, which is led by Tony Pollard.

Devonte Wyatt DT | GB
Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Ready for Week 2
Wyatt (ankle) does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Wes Hodkiewicz reports.
Wyatt has been dealing with an ankle injury since the start of the regular season. The defensive tackle fractured his ankle in Week 13 of 2025, and it's unclear how closely related his current issue is to that injury. Wyatt was able to play in Week 1 after three limited practices, and he appears firmly on track to do the same in Week 2.

Cooper DeJean CB | PHI
Eagles' Cooper DeJean: Cleared to play against Tennessee
DeJean (calf) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Titans.
DeJean was working through both calf and abdominal injuries during Week 2 prep, but he finished with a DNP/LP/FP practice log, with Friday's full session being enough for the third-year pro to avoid an injury tag. DeJean played every single defensive snap during the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Commanders, finishing with eight tackles (four solo).

Joey Porter Jr. CB | DAL
Steelers' Joey Porter: Won't play at New England
Porter (back) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Porter missed all of training camp and was sidelined in Week 1 due to what the Steelers are saying is a back injury, and that's what is officially keeping him out Sunday as well. With that said, he has expressed dissatisfaction about an inability to get a contract extension in place in recent weeks. Asante Samuel should continue to see an uptick in reps against New England.

Javon Hargrave NT | GB
Packers' Javon Hargrave: Likely missing Week 2
Hargrave (concussion/knee) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Wes Hodkiewicz reports.
Hargrave was a limited participant in Wednesday's session as he worked through a concussion and a knee issue. The starting nose tackle then missed the Thursday and Friday's sessions. It now appears Hargrave will not suit up for Sunday's game against the Jets, but if he's able to play, he would need to be vetted by an independent neurologist to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol.

Malik Muhammad CB | CHI
Bears' Malik Muhammad: Good to go against Minnesota
Muhammad (ankle) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's NFC North clash against the Vikings.
Muhammad was limited in practice by an ankle injury earlier in the week, but he shed an injury designation for Week 2 after practicing in full Friday. The rookie fourth-rounder operated in an elevated role defensively during the Bears' Week 1 win over the Panthers, but his playing time will likely take a hit due to the return of veteran safety Xavier Woods (groin).

Xavier Woods FS | CHI
Bears' Xavier Woods: Cleared to play Week 2
Woods (groin) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Vikings.
A groin injury prevented Woods from playing in the Bears' Week 1 loss to the Panthers, but the veteran safety logged a full practice Friday, which was enough for him to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's NFC North tilt. Woods is expected start alongside rookie first-rounder Dillon Thieneman at safety, with Elijah Hicks, Skyler Thomas and Malik Muhammad all providing depth at the position.

Andrew Van Ginkel OLB | MIN
Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel: Set to suit up
Van Ginkel (chest) does not have any injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Van Ginkel was a limited participant in the Vikings' Wednesday and Thursday practices before returning to full participation Friday. The linebacker has recovered from his chest issue enough to be cleared and is all set to suit up for Sunday's divisional contest against the Bears. Van Ginkel logged 1.5 sacks in last Sunday's divisional win over the Packers, putting the 31-year-old on pace to best his single-season record of 11.5 sacks set in the 2024 regular season.

Will McDonald IV DE | NYJ
Jets' Will McDonald: Iffy for Week 2
McDonald (ankle) logged a limited practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers.
McDonald popped up on Thursday's injury report as an LP due to an ankle injury, and a limited session Friday drew him the questionable tag for Week 2. The fourth-year pro's status for Sunday's game may not be officially known until the inactive lists are announced approximately 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Rookie No. 2 overall pick David Bailey, Braiden McGregor and Kingsley Enagbare would all be in line for more defensive snaps if McDonald is not cleared to play against Green Bay.

Oscar Delp TE | NO
Saints' Oscar Delp: No injury designation for Week 2
Delp (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Delp has been battling a hamstring injury, keeping him off the field for the 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1. He was limited during Wednesday and Thursday's practices, though after logging a full session Friday, he now has the green light to suit up for the Week 2 meeting with Baltimore. While it's unknown how much action Delp will see against the Ravens, he could be more involved than Noah Fant behind Juwan Johnson (illness).
