Schenn (illness) will play Friday in Game 6 against Vancouver, Nick Kieser of 102.5 ESPN Nashville reports. Schenn will return after missing Game 5 on Tuesday. The veteran blueliner has averaged 15:03 of ice time with 12 hits through four games this series. He'll skate in a second-pairing role Friday.

Schenn (illness) is considered day-to-day ahead of Game 6 against the Canucks on Friday, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports. Schenn's status may not be determined until closer to puck drop Friday but the Preds recalled Kevin Gravel from AHL Milwaukee just in case. The 34-year-old Schenn isn't exactly an offensive dynamo considering he is goalless in his last 31 contests during which he generated a lone helper.

Schenn (illness) will miss Tuesday's Game 5 versus the Canucks. Schenn was a surprise scratch before warmups, and this explains why. Tyson Barrie will enter the lineup in a bottom-four role to cover for Schenn's absence. If the Predators lose Tuesday, Schenn will have to wait until next season to play again.

Schenn had a shot on goal and six hits in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Red Wings. Schenn still doesn't score much -- he has just six points on the season and hasn't cracked the scoresheet in 16 games. However, he's a pretty good source of peripheral stats with 168 hits (good for fifth on the team) and 63 blocked shots (sixth), along with a plus-3 rating. Just don't expect Schenn to come anywhere near the 22 points he posted last season.

Schenn notched his first goal of the sesaon in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues. Schenn's first season in Nashville has been largely forgettable, especially since he's spent most of it sidelined with a lower-body injury. He has just six points in 36 games, which will make it tough for him to match the 22 points he recorded last season, split between the Canucks and Maple Leafs. Schenn's currently skating on the Preds' second defensive pairing alongside Ryan McDonagh.
