The 34-year-old defenseman is up to seven points, 27 shots on net, 29 hits, 51 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 27 appearances. Myers has a shot at a larger role while Filip Hronek (lower body) is sidelined, and it's at least leading to more offense for Myers.

With Filip Hronek (lower body) on the shelf for roughly two months, Myers has taken over on the top pairing alongside Quinn Hughes. That role hasn't led to more offense yet, but Myers should get his looks while seeing time on the second power-play unit. He had to help cover for Quinn Hughes, who was ejected after a boarding major and game misconduct in the first period. Myers has picked up the pace with three points over his last five games, giving him one goal, four assists, 19 shots on net, 18 hits, 33 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 19 appearances this season. Myers should get back to a slightly smaller workload Tuesday versus the Bruins assuming Hughes avoids supplemental discipline.

While his tally had no impact on the game, it snapped his seven-game drought on offense. The 34-year-old defenseman has been limited to three points while adding 15 shots on net, 15 hits, 26 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 15 outings. Myers offers decent non-scoring production, but he'd need to do a little more on offense for widespread fantasy appeal.
