Tatar scored a goal on the man advantage and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Capitals. Tatar scored his first power-play goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1 in the opening frame, and he registered the primary helper on Brenden Dillon's first goal of 2024-25 in the second frame. Tatar added two shots, one block, and a plus-1 rating in a team-low 9:30 of ice time. The 33-year-old has points in back-to-back games, but his fourth-line role will limit his path to consistent offensive production. Tatar has accounted for three goals, five assists and a plus-2 rating through 23 games.

Tatar notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes. The helper was Tatar's first point over nine games in November. The 33-year-old winger remains in a fourth-line role at even strength with just sporadic power-play usage. He's produced six points, 22 shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-1 rating over 22 outings, a pace that would have him fall short of the 30-point mark for the second straight year. There are better options available in most fantasy formats.

Tatar scored a goal in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Canucks. Tatar scored for the first time since Oct. 12 when he netted the Devils' last goal of the game. The winger has primarily played in a bottom-six role this season, though he's also on the second power-play unit and has been in the lineup consistently. Tatar has two goals, three assists, 16 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating over 13 appearances.

Tatar registered a goal, an assist and four shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over Washington. Tatar has his first points since returning to the Devils on a one-year, $1.8 million contract during the offseason. The 33-year-old winger hasn't seen much NHL action over the last two seasons, but he could be in line for a renaissance if he can stick on the second line with Nico Hischier and Dawson Mercer.

Tatar signed a one-year, $1.8 million contract with New Jersey on Tuesday. Tatar accounted for nine goals, 24 points and 72 shots on net in 70 regular-season contests between Seattle and Colorado in 2023-24. He played for the Devils for two campaigns before signing with the Avalanche, which includes a 20-goal and 48-point showing over 82 regular-season outings in 2022-23. However, he is unlikely to reach those marks in 2024-25 as a depth forward for New Jersey.
