  • Palat scored a goal on four shots and delivered two hits in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Canadiens. Palat accepted a feed from Jack Hughes and beat Montreal's Sam Montembeault glove side. After going pointless over the first seven games, Palat is heating up. Three of his four points this season have come in the five games since being moved to the second line with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt.

  • Palat scored a goal on five shots in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Canucks. Palat stretched the Devils' lead to 4-0 in the second period with his first tally of the campaign. The 33-year-old seems to be heating up with three points over his last five games, which accounts for all of his offense so far. He was listed on the Devils' second line Wednesday, but he saw just 11:24 of ice time. For the season, the veteran winger has added 16 shots on net, 21 hits and a minus-6 rating over 12 appearances.

  • Palat notched an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Ducks. Palat hasn't done much on offense this season, earning two assists over 11 appearances. The winger had a season-high 13:53 of ice time Sunday, so while he's been listed on the second line, he's functioning more as a bottom-six option. He's added 11 shots on net, 21 hits and a minus-7 rating, and without more offense, he won't have much appeal in fantasy.
