Through seven contests, Burakovsky has done well as a playmaker, earning five assists, including three on the power play. The winger has come up empty on 10 shots on goal and has a minus-1 rating, but he could be a depth option in fantasy if he continues to be semi-consistent on offense.

The 29-year-old winger has added nine shots on net and a minus-1 rating over five appearances. Burakovsky is playing alongside Matty Beniers and Eeli Tolvanen at even strength, and that trio has gotten off to an uneven start compared to some of their teammates. After an injury-riddled 2023-24, Burakovsky will need to prove himself both with health and with offense before he can be trusted as a depth forward in fantasy.

Burakovsky's had a year to forget, but his tally Tuesday was his career-high fifth power-play goal in a season. The 29-year-old is up to seven tallies, 16 points (nine on the power play), 79 shots on net and a minus-12 rating through 44 appearances. Burakovsky will likely continue to see top-six minutes to close out the campaign. He's definitely worth a look as a streaming target Thursday versus the Sharks.
