Point scored a power-play goal in Monday's 8-2 win over the Avalanche. Point found the back of the net midway through the second period following setups from Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Hagel, and by the time he scored, the Lightning were already up 6-1. Point has been productive since returning to the lineup following a lower-body injury that sidelined him for four games from Nov. 5-16, notching four goals, including two on the power play, in his last four appearances.

Point scored a power-play goal, blocked two shots and went minus-3 in Thursday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets. Point got the fun started at 1:51 of the first period to lead off a three-goal frame for the Lightning. The 28-year-old has three goals over two contests since he returned from a lower-body injury. He looks fine and should continue to see top-six minutes, though he was limited to 15:42 of ice time Thursday after playing 23:43 in his return Tuesday. Overall, Point has 11 goals (six on the power play), five assists, 27 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 14 appearances this season.

Point (lower body) scored twice Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins. Point had missed four games, but you'd never know it from his play. His first was a backhand shelf over Tristan Jarry's shoulder early in the third to get the Bolts on the board and cut the lead to 2-1. Then Point came from behind the net and stuffed his tenth of the season into an empty net with Jarry completely out of position to win the game. Point has nine points in his last six games; this run includes six goals and 14 shots. His 38.5 shooting percentage is more than double his career average (18.6), so expect a correction soon enough.

Point (lower body) will be back in the lineup versus the Penguins on Tuesday, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports. Point will retake his spot on the Bolts' first line alongside Nikita Kucherov and Jake Guentzel. In addition, the 28-year-old Point will link up with the same duo on the No. 1 power-play unit. The center will look to pick up where he left off, having racked up seven points, including two power-play goals, in his last five outings.

Point (lower body) could still be an option against the Penguins on Tuesday after head coach Jon Cooper told reporters the center was "trending in the right direction," per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times. Point certainly seems to be getting close to play after working with the No. 1 power-play unit at Monday's practice. Fantasy managers should probably expect the Calgary native to be deemed a game-time decision ahead of puck drop, but look for him to fill a first-line role whenever he is given the green light to return to the lineup.
