Hronek posted an assist, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Sharks. Hronek got on the scoresheet in his 400th career game, helping out on a Jake DeBrusk tally. The 27-year-old Hronek has earned 208 points over parts of seven seasons. He's off to a bit of a slow start in 2024-25, logging three assists, 12 shots on net, 23 hits, 10 blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-7 rating over 10 contests. That said, Hronek offers decent category coverage in a top-pairing role, so he's in a good spot to turn his offense up.

Hronek logged an assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks. Hronek hasn't stood out much to begin 2024-25, logging just two assists (one on the power play) over six contests. The defenseman has partially made up for the lack of offense with 14 hits, 10 blocked shots, nine shots on net, six PIM and a plus-4 rating to provide decent category coverage outside of offense. Hronek is locked in as a top-pairing defenseman, and he also plays on the second power-play unit, so his scoring should pick up.

Hronek logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Flames. Hronek set up Daniel Sprong for the opening goal at 9:40 of the first period. The 26-year-old Hronek had a career year with 48 points (11 on the power play) and a plus-33 rating in 81 regular-season appearances last season, which earned him an eight-year contract in June. While he doesn't have the offensive upside of his defense partner Quinn Hughes, Hronek offers decent category coverage for fantasy and enough offense to be rostered in standard formats thanks to his spot on the second power-play unit.

Hronek signed an eight-year, $58 million contract with Vancouver on Tuesday. Hronek registered five goals and a career-high 48 points in 81 regular-season contests with the Canucks in 2023-24. He also added 148 shots on net, 87 blocked shots and 104 hits. Hronek was a good fit alongside Quinn Hughes, which will likely be Vancouver's top pairing going into the 2024-25 campaign.

Hronek scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 7. Hronek earned his first career playoff tally late in the third period, but the Canucks couldn't follow it up with an equalizer. The 26-year-old defenseman was limited to two points, 13 shots on net, 25 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 13 postseason appearances in his first taste of playoff action. Hronek will be a restricted free agent this summer -- the only skater on the Canucks' roster with that status -- so getting him signed will likely be a top priority for general manager Patrik Allvin.
