Sergachev notched a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals. Sergachev has power-play helpers in each of the last two games and six points, including three with the man advantage, across seven outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. The defenseman is up to 36 points (15 on the power play), 88 shots on net, 95 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 51 appearances. He plays a massive role for Utah and should be a multi-category performer as a No. 1 fantasy defenseman.

Sergachev scored a goal, dished out two assists and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against Philadelphia. Tuesday's performance matched Sergachev's highest point total of the season, tallying three points for the first time since Oct. 30 against Calgary. The latter of his two assists came on Dylan Guenther's game-winning goal. The 26-year-old blueliner has 10 goals, 24 assists, 91 blocks, and 80 shots on goal in 48 appearances this season. Sergachev's average TOI is up to 25:45, which trails only Zach Werenski across the NHL. The blueliner's 13-game goal drought from mid-December into January seems to be well behind him after scoring two goals in his past four contests. He is the heart of Utah's defense and should continue to receive many opportunities to produce in fantasy moving forward.

The 26-year-old had gone 13 games without a goal prior to his five-game absence, but he was able to find the twine in the first period of his return. The blueliner is up to nine goals, 31 points (13 on the power play), 75 shots on net, 85 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 45 appearances. He's safe to activate in fantasy and should see a large role with significant time in all situations.

Sergachev (upper body) will play versus the Penguins on Wednesday. Sergachev will return from a five-game absence to play on the top pairing and first power-play unit. He had been limited to three helpers and a minus-7 rating over his first seven appearances in January before the injury, but his return will be a boost to Utah's lineup. Juuso Valimaki will be scratched to make way for Sergachev's return.

Sergachev (upper body) will be a game-time decision against Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports. Sergachev has been out of action for Utah's last five outings but appears to be nearing a return to the lineup. While the blueliner is stuck in a 13-game goal drought, he has picked up seven helpers over that stretch while averaging 26:01 of ice time. Once given the all-clear, Sergachev should retake his spot on the top pairing in addition to a No. 1 power-play role.
