Keep deploying him until his pace slows.

Cirelli notched a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over Pittsburgh. His goal forced overtime. Cirelli is riding a three-game goal streak (three goals, four points), and he has 17 points, including 12 assists, in 17 games this season. Brayden Point (lower body) returned to action Tuesday, so Cirelli slid off the top line and into the two-hole with Brandon Hagel and Nick Paul. He remains a solid fantasy play short term, but may see his contributions slide a bit with Point's return, especially if Paul, who left Tuesday's game in the last frame, is out long.

Cirelli scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey. He was awarded the empty-net goal when Luke Hughes threw his stick at Cirelli during a breakaway. The Lightning pivot has risen to the opportunity to play on the top line this season due to the absence of Brayden Point (lower body). Cirelli has put up four goals and 16 points through 16 appearances. He also has a 52.6 faceoff winning percentage, elevating his fantasy value in a highly competitive and deep center pool.

Cirelli scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-1 win over Winnipeg. He made is 3-0 early in the second period on a redirection of a shot by Victor Hedman. It was Cirelli's 100th NHL goal. He remains on a career pace with 14 points in 15 games, but the goal was just his third of the season and first on the power play. Cirelli's 13.6 shooting percentage this season is right in line with his career average of 13.4, but he's passing a lot more than ever before. And he's well on his way toward smashing his career mark of 45 points set in 2023-24.

Cirelli notched an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Blues. Cirelli filled in as the top-line center with Brayden Point (lower body) unavailable Tuesday. It was in that role where Cirelli fed defenseman Nick Perbix for the game's opening goal at 2:39 of the second period. Cirelli is off to a great start with 13 points, 19 shots on net, 12 blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-3 rating over 13 contests. He's usually on the second line, but he's got strong enough two-way chops to move up when necessary.
