He's never reached the 30-point mark in a single season, but he could challenge for that level if he's able to stay healthy in 2024-25, something that has often been a problem for Grzelcyk over his first seven full campaigns.

The defenseman traded in one black-and-gold uniform for another, signing with the Penguins this summer after eight seasons with the Bruins. He's playing in a top-four role and averaging 20:47 of ice time per game.

• Penguins' Matt Grzelcyk: Secures one-year contract

  Grzelcyk signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Penguins on Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. Grzelcyk had two goals, 11 points, 37 PIM, 53 hits and 76 blocked shots in 63 regular-season outings with Boston in 2023-24. He'll probably serve on the Penguins' third pairing.
