Power contributed two assists and three blocked shots in a 7-5 loss to the Canadiens on Monday. Power had a minus-4 rating across 22:41 of ice time in the defeat. Power scored a goal on six shots in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders. Power cut New York's lead to one late in the third period, but it wasn't enough as Buffalo fell short of pulling off a two-goal comeback. The 21-year-old defenseman extended his point streak to six games after tallying Friday, and he's racked up two goals and six assists during that span. The left-shot blueliner is making great strides in his fourth NHL season -- he's tied for second on the team in points with nine. Overall, Power has generated three goals, six assists, 24 shots,16 blocks, six hits and four takeaways across 11 appearances.

Power delivered three assists with one shot, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Stars. The 21-year-old blueliner had a hand in Buffalo's first three goals on the night, giving Power his first multi-point performance of the season. He's had a strong start to the campaign, racking up two goals and six points in eight appearances, and he's done it without the benefit of any power-play production. However, as long as Rasmus Dahlin is healthy, Power will remain limited to the Sabres' second unit despite his offensive talent.

Power logged an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks. Power has a goal and an assist over the last two games. The 21-year-old defenseman is up to three points, 11 shots on net, nine blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through seven outings. He's taken some time to get his offense going, but there's no doubt about his ability to handle top-four minutes and power-play time. Power should be rostered in deeper fantasy formats, though he could gain widespread appeal if he can take his offense to another level this year.

Power scored the Sabres' lone goal in Friday's 4-1 defeat against New Jersey. Power is well on his way to surpassing his career-high six goals he put up last season and should once again be capable of reaching the 30-point threshold. The blueliner would certainly benefit from running Buffalo's No. 2 power-play unit but may have to share those responsibilities with Bowen Byram -- especially with Rasmus Dahlin firmly entrenched with the No. 1 group.
