Beecher's point drought reached 12 games in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Red Wings. Beecher was a pleasant surprise in the first couple weeks of the season, but he's contributed no points since his assist Oct. 26 versus the Maple Leafs. The 23-year-old has two goals, six points, 14 shots on net, 28 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 21 appearances, and he was scratched versus the Blues on Nov. 16. Beecher is still good enough to hold down a fourth-line role, but he's not a fantasy factor now that his offense has dried up.

Beecher scored a goal on one shot while notching an assist in a 4-3 loss to the Panthers on Monday. Beecher is off to a strong 2024-25 campaign with four points in four games despite slotting into a bottom-six role. As a rookie last year, the 23-year-old New York native put up seven goals and three assists in 52 regular-season contests. Those numbers look set to fall easily this year, with Beecher possibly challenging for the 30-point threshold.

Beecher provided an assist, three shots on goal and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Panthers. Beecher made the Opening Night roster as a fourth-line forward, though he ended up with 15:18 of ice time. It's an encouraging start for the 23-year-old, who had a modest 10 points and added 112 hits in 52 regular-season outings in 2023-24 while also appearing in 12 of the Bruins' 13 playoff games. Beecher didn't put up high-end scoring numbers in his NCAA career at Michigan nor at AHL Providence prior to his call-up last year, so his fantasy value will be limited to deeper formats that count hits.

Beecher was promoted from AHL Providence on Friday. Beecher played in 52 games with Boston during the regular season, scoring seven times while adding three helpers. The 23-year-old, who was selected 30th overall in the 2019 Draft, chipped in with 112 hits and 34 blocked shots in his rookie campaign. He could get into the lineup in a bottom-six role at some point during the playoffs .

Beecher (illness) was reassigned to AHL Providence on Saturday, per CapFriendly. Beecher is presumably healthy after being reassigned. He was on an emergency recall and had to return to the minors after James van Riemsdyk (illness) played Saturday versus the Flyers.
