Byram registered two even-strength assists in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders. Byram recorded a pair of secondary helpers in the third period of Buffalo's comeback attempt versus New York. The left-shot blueliner offered three shots, one hit, two PIM and a plus-1 rating in 21:49 of ice time. Byram has two multi-point efforts this season, and through 11 games, the 23-year-old is up to one goal, five assists and an even plus-minus rating.

Byram scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings. Byram hasn't found consistent offense this season, though he remains on the Sabres' second pairing. The blueliner has a goal, three assists, eight shots on net, eight hits and 11 blocked shots over nine appearances. Byram's power-play time has dropped in recent games, and that will likely make it tough for him to elevate his offense.

Byram collected two assists in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Penguins. It's the first multi-point performance of the season for Byram, who came into the game with just one assist in four contests. The 23-year-old blueliner has the talent befitting the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, but Byram is behind Rasmus Dahlin (first overall in 2018) and Owen Power (first overall in 2021) in the pecking order for power-play time, limiting his fantasy upside.

Byram logged an assist and blocked three shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Devils in Prague. Byram helped out on Owen Power's third-period goal. In addition to the assist, Byram led the Sabres with 24:52 of ice time, more than Power's 23:27 and Rasmus Dahlin's 22:48. All three blueliners are likely to play a big role this season, but Byram has arguably the most to gain after producing a combined 29 points in 73 appearances between the Avalanche and the Sabres last year. Byram is expected to see more consistent power-play usage in 2024-25, which could help him push well beyond the 30-point mark, assuming he can stay healthy.

Byram (personal) is good to play Saturday versus Florida, according to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News. Byram has 11 goals and 27 points in 71 outings between Colorado and Buffalo in 2023-24. His return will result in Kale Clague being a healthy scratch against the Panthers.
