  • Flyers' Jacob Gaucher: Reassigned to AHL

Gaucher was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.

The Flyers activated Jakob Pelletier and Andrei Kuzmenko after they resolved their visa issues and solved their travel plans from Calgary last week. Gaucher made his NHL debut Sunday and had three shots on goal, four hits and two blocked shots over three games with the Flyers.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Won't play Friday

Crosby (upper body) will not be in the lineup versus the Rangers on Friday. According to head coach Mike Sullivan, the team is "taking it one day at a time," per Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff.

Crosby's absence from the lineup seemed likely after the Penguins recalled Emil Bemstrom from the minors early Friday. It looks like Rickard Rakell will shift to the center spot on the first line alongside Bryan Rust and Anthony Beauvillier for the time being. Given Sullivan's comment, Crosby should be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Flyers -- a team Crosby has tormented throughout his career to the tune of 133 points in 88 games.

  • Travis Konecny RW | PHI

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Adds assist in loss

Konecny notched an assist and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.

Konecny was held off the scoresheet in four straight games, though the Flyers were shut out in three of them. The 27-year-old forward has just one goal across his last 15 contests, adding 13 assists, 20 shots on net and a minus-2 rating in that span. For the season, he's been one of the Flyers' most reliable forwards, earning 21 goals, a career-high 38 assists, 125 shots on net, 71 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 56 appearances. He's well on his way to securing a career year and potentially his first 80-point campaign if he stays on his overall pace.

  • Lars Eller C | OTT

Capitals' Lars Eller: Ties game in third period

Eller scored a goal and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Flyers.

Eller has scored in back-to-back games for the first time this season. He netted the equalizer at 6:23 of the third period, tying the game at 3-3. Eller has four points over his last eight contests and a total of 10 goals, 19 points, 67 shots on net, 38 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 52 appearances between the Capitals and the Penguins this season.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Gets look on top line

Goncalves notched an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Senators.

The absence of Anthony Cirelli (upper body) led to significant changes to the Lightning's lineup. Goncalves benefited, earning a top-line chance at even strength, and he made good on it by assisting on Brayden Point's third-period insurance tally. Goncalves has a helper in three of his last four contests, and he's up to five points, 28 shots on net, 23 hits and a plus-2 rating over 31 games this season.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Canucks' Pius Suter: Deals power-play helper

Suter notched a power-play assist in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

Suter set up Dakota Joshua on the opening tally at 8:04 of the third period. With three goals and three assists over his last six outings, Suter has put up decent offense while serving as a middle-six center. The 28-year-old forward is up to 14 goals, 11 assists, three power-play points, 82 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 53 appearances. He's on pace to challenge his career highs of 15 goals and 36 points from the 2021-22 campaign with the Red Wings.

  • Canucks' Dakota Joshua: Nets power-play goal

Joshua scored a power-play goal on two shots and added three hits in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks.

The goal was Joshua's first point since Dec. 18. He was held off the scoresheet for 11 contests and missed another 11 games due to a leg injury in that span. The 28-year-old has gotten a look with the second power-play unit recently, which could help him get his offense on track. For the season, Joshua has three goals, two assists, 15 shots on net, 96 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 29 appearances.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Offers power-play assist

Domi logged a power-play assist in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Domi has a helper in three of his last four outings, and two of those assists have come with the man advantage. The 29-year-old also stayed on the top line at even strength even with Mitch Marner (lower body) back in action, though Marner led the Maple Leafs with 25:08 of ice time. Domi has most often been in a middle-six role this season. He's produced 20 points, 64 shots on net, 34 PIM and a plus-1 rating across 46 appearances.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Notches helper in win

Tavares produced an assist in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Tavares has a goal and two assists over three games in February after returning from a six-game absence due to a lower-body injury. He's slotted right back into his usual spot on the second line and first power-play unit and hasn't lost a beat. The 34-year-old center is up to 45 points, 129 shots on net, 59 hits, 28 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 47 appearances this season. He's on pace for a significant rebound after slipping to 29 goals and 65 points in the 2023-24 regular season.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Draws helper in win

Matthews notched an assist, six shots on goal and two PIM in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Matthews has six assists and 16 shots on net over three outings in February. He's also gone five games without a goal, his longest stretch without scoring since a pair of four-game stretches in November of 2023. For the season, the star center has 20 goals, 24 assists, 157 shots on net, 54 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 39 contests.
