  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Assists game-winner

Keller had an assist in the extra period and added five shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against the Flyers.

Keller registered a secondary helper on Dylan Guenther's game-winner. He also got off the ice a split-second before Guenther entered the offensive zone, avoiding an offside call and allowing the go-ahead play to stand. Utah's captain raised his season totals to 39 assists, 57 points and 135 shots on goal across 52 games this season. The 26-year-old winger is tied for the 20th-most points in the league and playing above a point-per-game pace. He is right on pace to break his career-best of 86 points from the 2022-23 campaign. It will be a tough task, but Keller's situation in Utah has improved since the return of Guenther and blueliner Mikhail Sergachev a few games ago. The captain is a high-level fantasy option for the rest of the season.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Lights lamp twice against Pens

Hughes scored two goals in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Penguins.

The 23-year-old center opened the scoring late in the first period by banging home a rebound before he gave the Devils a 2-0 lead midway through the second with a one-timer from the slot. Hughes extended his point streak to six games in the process, and over the last 14 contests he's racked up eight goals and 17 points.

  • Blue Jackets' Dylan Gambrell: Returns to minors

Gambrell was sent to AHL Cleveland on Wednesday, per Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.

Gambrell was summoned Monday on an emergency basis, but he didn't draw into the lineup. The 28-year-old has nine goals and 20 points in 31 appearances with Cleveland in 2024-25.

  • Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Two apples in win

Hayton provided two helpers and took four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Flyers.

Both of Hayton's assists came in regulation before Utah would eventually win the game in overtime. The 24-year-old center has 17 assists, 29 points and 93 shots on net across 53 games this season. Hayton has been showing steady improvement in the shot department, firing two attempts or more in 12 of his last 14 outings. While it has led to only five goals, his spot with the first unit on Utah's power play makes him a strong waiver-wire target while Logan Cooley (lower body) remains out.

  • Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Two helpers Tuesday

Poitras notched two assists in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Wild.

The 20-year-old center has a hand in second-period tallies by Charlie McAvoy and Trent Frederic, giving Jeremy Swayman all the support he would need on the night. Poitras hasn't scored a goal in 10 games since returning to the Bruins' lineup in mid-January, but he's been productive with seven assists, and he's been seeing shifts on Boston's second power-play unit.

  • Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: First NHL goal

Abols scored his first-career NHL goal and took two shots on net in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss against Utah.

Abols scored the opening goal Tuesday just two minutes into the contest. The 29-year-old center has a goal and 12 shots on net across his first seven career appearances. The fourth-line center should continue to skate roughly 10 minutes a night for Philadelphia.

  • Jets' Rasmus Kupari: Finds back of net

Kupari scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over Carolina.

Kupari has scored twice in his last four contests, and he's now matched his career-high mark of five goals set during the 2021-22 campaign when he was with the Kings. Despite the recent uptick in goals, the 24-year-old center has managed just seven points in 51 contests, making him a low-end fantasy option the rest of the way.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Stays hot with power-play goal

Sharangovich scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Sharangovich has scored on the power play in back-to-back games. He has five tallies and five assists over his last 12 outings, a return to the scoring form he displayed for most of 2023-24. The 26-year-old forward is now at 11 goals, 21 points, 92 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 46 appearances. He was a 31-goal, 59-point man in 2023-24, and if he can play at that level over the remainder of this season, he could still get to the 40-point mark by the end of the campaign.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Slings helper in win

Lorentz provided an assist and two PIM in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.

Lorentz ended a four-game slump with the helper. The 28-year-old forward remains in a fourth-line role, so longer droughts on offense are a possibility, though he has been more consistent since the holiday break. Lorentz is at five goals, seven helpers, 45 shots on net, 133 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 53 appearances this season.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Bulges twine in win

McMann scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.

McMann has scored in back-to-back games despite being on the third line for both of them. The 28-year-old winger put the Maple Leafs ahead 3-2 with the first even-strength tally in this contest. He's up to a career-high 16 goals and has matched his personal best with 24 points through 45 outings after reaching that mark in 56 regular-season games last year. McMann also has 114 shots on net, 73 hits and a plus-7 rating. Even in a depth role, he adds enough toughness and scoring to help in deeper fantasy formats.
