Nicolas Roy C | COL
Golden Knights' Nicolas Roy: Distributes three helpers
Roy notched three assists, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
Roy had gone six games without a point since logging an assist Jan. 12 in his return from an upper-body injury. With William Karlsson (upper body) now out of the lineup, Roy is getting a chance to center the third line and play on the second power-play unit after spending some time on the fourth line. The 27-year-old tends to do well when filling a larger role. He's at 17 points, 62 shots on net, 32 hits, 16 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 39 appearances this season in what's been a clear down year after he logged 41 points in 70 regular-season outings in 2023-24.

Tomas Hertl C | LV
Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Extends point streak to nine games
Hertl scored an empty-net goal on five shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
Hertl is absolutely rolling in January -- he extended his point streak to nine games with this tally. During the streak, he has seven goals and six assists, and he's earned six of those 13 points on the power play. The 31-year-old center is up to 18 goals, 39 points, 124 shots on net, 64 hits, 44 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 50 appearances. He's surpassed his production from 54 outings between Vegas and San Jose last year, and he could take a run at reaching the 70-point mark for the second time in his career.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Riding six-game point streak
Eichel scored a goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
Eichel restored the Golden Knights' two-goal lead midway through the third period. The star center has four goals and four assists during his current six-game point streak. For the season, the 28-year-old is up to 15 goals, 62 points, 152 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and a plus-28 rating through 49 appearances. Eichel is well on his way to a career year, though he'd have to pick up the pace in the goal-scoring department to set new personal bests across the board.

Vincent Trocheck C | NYR
Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Two points in loss
Trocheck tallied a goal in the first period and added an assist in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Avalanche.
The Rangers' top-line center tied the game at two apiece in the first period. His assist came on linemate Artemi Panarin's tying goal in the third period. The 31-year-old Trocheck has 15 goals, 17 assists and 131 shots on goal in 49 games this season. Trocheck's effort on the night was apparent with four shots on goal, two blocks, three hits and a plus-1 rating. Clear from his four-game point drought in mid-January, Trocheck is slowly finding a rhythm offensively and can be considered a safe fantasy play with good category coverage.

Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Earns power-play helper
Bedard notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Bedard set up Seth Jones' third-period tally. This was Bedard's fourth straight game without a goal, matching his longest goal drought since the start of December, but he has still earned three helpers during his current quiet stretch. The 19-year-old center is up to 13 goals, 30 helpers, 115 shots on net and a minus-22 rating over 49 appearances. Bedard hasn't been able to show much growth on offense in his sophomore campaign, and it's an issue with shot volume -- he averaged nearly three shots per game last season but is under 2.5 per contest in 2024-25, wiping out the benefits of a marginal increase in shooting percentage.

Frank Nazar C | CHI
Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Pots goal Sunday
Nazar scored a goal and added three hits in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Nazar's point streak is up to four games (two goals, three assists), and he's also scored in consecutive contests for the first time. The 21-year-old is finding success while filling a top-line role at even strength. Nazar is up to three goals, eight points, 25 shots on net, 17 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 20 appearances this season. He's worth a look in all fantasy formats as long as he remains beside Connor Bedard.

Marco Rossi C | VAN
Wild's Marco Rossi: Manages helper in win
Rossi provided an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Rossi has five helpers over his last five contests. He hasn't let a demotion to the second line impact his play much over the last two games, but it could have a negative effect in the long run. The center is at 44 points (10 on the power play), 90 shots on net and a plus-18 rating through 50 appearances this season, which is already better than what he did in 2023-24 (40 points in 82 games).

Frederick Gaudreau C | SEA
Wild's Frederick Gaudreau: Scores again Sunday
Gaudreau scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Gaudreau scored for the second game in a row, and he also earned a plus rating for just the second time in six contests. The center's first-period tally put the Wild ahead 2-0 as they controlled play early Sunday. Gaudreau has 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) over 50 appearances this season, returning to that threshold after missing out with a 15-point campaign in 2023-24. Still, his limited non-scoring production from a third-line role means Gaudreau isn't a particularly strong option for fantasy managers.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Tallies on power play Sunday
Eriksson Ek scored a power-play goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Eriksson Ek has scored in back-to-back games and looks to be turning things around on offense. The 27-year-old center has also played on the top line over the last two contests, which should help his production while seeing time alongside Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello. Eriksson Ek has nine goals, 22 points (seven on the power play), 98 shots on net, 59 hits and a plus-8 rating over 36 outings.

Jack Drury C | COL
Avalanche's Jack Drury: Nets first goal with Avs
Drury scored the opening goal in Sunday's 5-4 victory against the Rangers.
Just two games into his tenure with Colorado, Drury found the back of the net, scoring just under six minutes into the contest. With Sunday's tally, he is up to four goals, 10 points and 61 shots on net in 41 games this season. The 24-year-old has slotted into Colorado's third-line center role but could jump up to the second line with more performances similar to Sunday's effort. While he'll need to demonstrate more consistency on offense to be rostered in standard fantasy leagues, Drury's a name to throw on a watch list.
