  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

    Canucks' J.T. Miller: Records assist

Miller produced an assist, three shots on goal, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.

Miller set up Brock Boeser's second-period tally. The 31-year-old Miller has found his playmaking touch again with four helpers over his last three games. For the season, the center is up to eight goals, 25 helpers, 75 shots on net, 83 hits and a minus-3 rating over 37 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Three-game goal streak

Kotkaniemi scored a goal Thursday in a 7-4 win over the Blue Jackets.

Kotkaniemi has a three-game, four-goal streak on the go after scoring once in the previous 16. He now has 10 goals, 13 assists and 79 shots in 49 games with the Canes. Kotkaniemi is in his seventh season and on pace to perhaps hit 40 points. What you see is what you get, and that means his fantasy value is likely limited to deep formats that count forwards, not centers. Pivot formats are too deep to roll a guy who scores at his pace.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Leaves with injury Thursday

Stephenson (undisclosed) was injured in Thursday's game versus the Capitals, and head coach Dan Bylsma didn't have an update on his status after the contest, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Stephenson exited the game in the second period. Until more information is available, the 30-year-old center can be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's game versus the Penguins. Tye Kartye would likely enter the lineup if Stephenson is forced to miss time, while Jared McCann could move from wing to center.

  • Noah Philp C | CAR

Oilers' Noah Philp: Puts up helper

Philp notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.

This was Philp's first point in five games since his recall from AHL Bakersfield. He has replaced Derek Ryan on the roster and in a bottom-six role, centering the fourth line. Philp is at two helpers, eight shots on net, six hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over eight appearances this season. The 26-year-old is unlikely to see enough ice time to make an impact in fantasy.

  • Kent Johnson C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Streak at three games, four points

Johnson had a goal and an assist in a 7-4 loss to Carolina on Thursday.

Johnson's scoring streak sits at three games (two goals, two assists), and he has six points (three goals, three assists) in his last five games. Columbus has been patient with Johnson's development since the 2021 NHL Draft, and they have been rewarded. He's playing a stronger two-way game and has learned how to use his strength, instead of being knocked off the puck. Johnson has 14 goals and 16 assists in 35 games this season. He's a rising star.

  • Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Exits after high hit

Dellandrea (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Predators.

Dellandrea was clobbered on a hit away from the puck in the second period and immediately went to the locker room, so it's not surprising that he's done for the game. If he's forced to miss additional time, Collin Graf or Carl Grundstrom were the healthy scratches at forward for Thursday's contest and could enter the lineup in a bottom-six capacity. The Sharks' next game is Saturday at home versus the Panthers.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Seven points in last four games

Jarvis scored two goals and added two assists in a 7-4 win over Columbus on Thursday.

Jarvis has seven points, including five goals, in his last four games, and he has 18 goals, 20 assists and 113 shots in 42 games on the season. That's impressive output considering he's playing on the Canes' third line. Jarvis is on his way to career marks in all three categories.

  • Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores in blowout win

Henrique scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.

Henrique ended a five-game point drought Thursday. The 34-year-old has gone 22 contests without an assist, but he's scored four times over his last nine outings while filling a third-line role. For the season, Henrique has added limited depth scoring with seven goals, 14 points, 70 shots on net, 32 hits, 48 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 48 appearances.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: One of each on power play

Nugent-Hopkins scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.

The 31-year-old has two goals and three helpers over his last five games, with four of those five points coming on the power play. Nugent-Hopkins' tally gave the Oilers a 5-0 lead in the second period. He's seen a larger role centering his own line while Connor McDavid (suspension) is unavailable. Nugent-Hopkins has 13 goals, 29 points (14 on the power play), 96 shots on net and a plus-2 rating across 47 outings this season.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Three more points in win

Draisaitl scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two assists in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.

Draisaitl is on an eight-game point streak with six goals and nine assists in that span. He's earned multiple points in four straight outings, and this was his first three-point effort since Dec. 19 versus the Bruins. This performance moved him within one point of Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon (75) for the league lead. Draisaitl leads the NHL with 35 goals and has added 39 assists, 151 shots on net, a plus-27 rating and 20 power-play points through 48 appearances.
