Marco Kasper C | DET
Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Two more points Sunday
Kasper potted an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
Kasper scored the first of three goals that chased Philipp Grubauer from the contest early in the first period. Kasper has produced back-to-back multi-point efforts after being held off the scoresheet in 15 prior outings. The Austrian forward is currently skating alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond, so Kasper could be a worthy pickup if he can maintain his top-line role. The 20-year-old Kasper is up to four goals and seven assists through 37 appearances in 2024-25.

Nick Paul C | TB
Lightning's Nick Paul: Fills empty cage
Paul scored an empty-net goal and added three hits in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Penguins.
Paul has two goals and two assists during a four-game point streak, which he kept alive with a goal in the final minute of this contest. The 29-year-old forward was up on the second line as a winger Sunday since Conor Geekie was a healthy scratch. Paul has most often played as a third-line center, racking up 11 goals, 13 helpers, 59 shots on net, 31 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 35 appearances this season, giving him some value in deeper fantasy formats.

Anthony Cirelli C | TB
Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: One of each Sunday
Cirelli scored an empty-net goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Penguins.
Cirelli set up Brandon Hagel's game-tying goal in the second period before adding one of two empty-netters for the Lightning in the third. The 27-year-old Cirelli has three goals and an assist over seven contests in January. It's a bit of a slowdown for the center, but as a player with strong two-way skills, he'll sometimes sacrifice offense for defense. He's up to 17 goals, 36 points, 82 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and a plus-21 rating through 40 appearances. Cirelli remains on track to easily surpass his career high of 45 points from last season.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Racking up points in January
Larkin scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist Sunday in a 6-2 win over the Kraken.
Larkin set up Marco Kasper at even strength to open the scoring in the first period before netting his team-leading 10th power-play marker of the campaign in the middle frame. Larkin is on fire through five games in January, racking up five goals, eight points and a plus-2 rating. The 28-year-old center has been held off the scoresheet only once since Todd McLellan took over as head coach Dec. 27. Larkin's at 18 goals and 19 assists through 42 games, trailing only Lucas Raymond (46) for the team lead in points.

Colin Blackwell C | DAL
Stars' Colin Blackwell: Contributes assist Sunday
Blackwell recorded a power-play assist and three hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.
Blackwell ended an eight-game point drought with his helper on Evgenii Dadonov's third-period goal. Playing in a bottom-six role often keeps Blackwell away from consistent scoring contributions. Overall, he has nine points, 41 shots on net, 50 hits and a plus-1 rating over 37 appearances this season. Despite the lack of offense, Blackwell is likely to remain in the lineup on a regular basis as a veteran forward.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Stars' Logan Stankoven: Helps out on power play
Stankoven provided a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.
Stankoven is warming up a little with two assists over his last three contests. The 21-year-old has had no luck with finishing lately -- he's on a 25-game goal drought and has come up empty on 65 shots in that span while adding just six helpers. The talented rookie has 20 points, 111 shots on net, 25 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 40 appearances. He'll likely remain in a third-line role, as the Stars have found some success with a more veteran top six in recent weeks.
-
Nick Cousins C | OTT
Senators' Nick Cousins: Collects assist
Cousins produced an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
Cousins has been limited to two assists over his last eight outings. The 31-year-old doesn't have to score to be productive -- he also has 10 PIM and 16 hits in that span. He's been a bottom-six fixture for the Senators this season, earning five goals, eight assists, 57 shots on net, 66 hits, 35 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 40 appearances. That's a level of production that only fantasy managers in deep formats will appreciate.
-
Shane Pinto C | OTT
Senators' Shane Pinto: Records helper in win
Pinto logged an assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
Pinto now has three points over his last two outings after picking up just one assist in the previous seven games. The 24-year-old center often plays more than his third-line role would suggest -- he led all Senators forwards with 21:50 of ice time Sunday, his second straight game over the 20-minute mark. He's produced 13 points, 63 shots on net, 32 hits, 25 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 34 appearances. Should Pinto continue to see more ice time, his production will likely keep improving in the second half of the campaign.

Matthew Highmore C | NYI
Senators' Matthew Highmore: Gets first goal of season
Highmore scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
Highmore has played in the last two games in place of Noah Gregor (lower body). The 28-year-old Highmore's tally Sunday was his second career game-winning goal. He has never exceeded 12 points or 46 games played in an NHL campaign, so fantasy managers likely won't need to turn to him at any point in 2024-25.

Josh Norris C | BUF
Senators' Josh Norris: Scores in Sunday's win
Norris scored a goal on four shots, doled out seven hits and added two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
Norris ended a five-game goal drought with the second-period tally, which tied the contest at 1-1. He has been limited to two points over six outings in January. The center's slowdown on offense is a bit concerning even though he's maintained a prominent role in the Senators' lineup. He's contributed 15 goals, nine assists, 83 shots, 112 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-10 rating over 42 appearances this season.
