Blues' Zachary Bolduc: Nabs assist in overtime loss

Bolduc notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Panthers.

Bolduc ended a four-game slump with the helper. That was his longest drought yet this season, though the 21-year-old hasn't exactly been a model of consistency either. He's up to 11 points, 37 shots on net, 37 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 29 appearances while filling a bottom-six role.

  • Blues' Alexandre Texier: Provides helper in loss

Texier notched an assist in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Panthers.

Texier has played in four of the last five contests, and this was his first point since Oct. 29. The 25-year-old forward is starting to gain favor with new head coach Jim Montgomery, though Texier is likely to remain in a bottom-six role most of the time. He has produced four points, 25 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 17 appearances this season.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Adds assist in overtime win

Reinhart logged a power-play assist in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Blues.

Reinhart has four points over his last three games, including a pair of power-play assists in that span. He helped out on Aleksander Barkov's game-winning goal at 4:43 of overtime. Reinhart is up to 20 goals, 23 assists, 14 power-play points, 86 shots on net, 44 hits, 25 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 34 appearances this season in a top-six role.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Not expected to play

Matthews (upper body) isn't expected to play Saturday versus the Islanders, according to TSN.

Matthews aggravated the upper-body injury that kept him out for nine games in November in Friday's 6-3 win over Buffalo. He has amassed six goals and 12 points in 11 appearances since returning to the lineup. According to TSN's Chris Johnston, Matthews is also questionable for Monday's matchup versus Winnipeg. John Tavares will probably center the top line during Matthews' absence, while Connor Dewar or Ryan Reaves could play against the Islanders on Saturday.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Nets PP goal Friday

Matthews scored a power-play goal in Friday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.

Matthews doubled Toronto's lead in the early stages of the first period with a wrister following assists from William Nylander and Mitch Marner. Matthews has two goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. The 27-year-old missed nine straight contests in November because of an upper-body injury, but he's been on a tear with 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 11 appearances since his return.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Third straight game with goal

Domi notched a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.

Domi has found the twine in three consecutive games, and the 29-year-old playmaker seems to be leaving a prolonged slump in the rearview. He went pointless in a 16-game stretch between Oct. 22 and Dec. 14, though he also missed eight games in that span due to a lower-body injury. With five points across his last three appearances, Domi is trending in the right direction.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Extends point streak Friday

McCann recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.

McCann has two goals and three assists during his season-long three-game point streak. The 28-year-old has played well since returning from a seven-game absence, and he's up to 12 points (eight goals, four assists) through 25 appearances. McMann also has 64 shots on net and 43 hits while occupying a bottom-six role.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Extends point streak to three games

Tavares recorded two assists in Friday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.

Tavares hasn't lit the lamp since notching a hat trick in a 5-3 win over Buffalo on Sunday but has three goals and three assists during his three-game point streak. He has produced 10 points (five goals, five helpers) in 10 games since the beginning of December, and he ranks third in the team in total points in 2024-25 with 31, trailing only Mitch Marner (44) and William Nylander (36).

  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Scores vs. Florida

Sundqvist scored a goal in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Panthers.

Sundqvist cracked the scoresheet for the first time since Nov. 25, when he recorded an assist in a 5-2 win over the Rangers. Given his limited involvement on offense and the nature of his bottom-six role, Sundqvist won't have a prominent role in most fantasy formats. Through 24 appearances, he's recorded four points (three goals, one assist), 13 shots, 34 hits and 24 blocked shots while posting a minus-5 rating.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Clutch performance Friday

Barkov scored the game-winning goal during Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Blues.

Barkov was involved directly in the Panthers' two goals in Friday's tight victory, setting up Uvis Balinskis' second-period tally before scoring the winner. Barkov controlled the puck in the circle and blasted a snap shot past Joel Hofer to give the Panthers three consecutive wins with only 17 seconds left in overtime. Barkov has amassed 10 goals, 32 points, 58 shots, 27 hits and 23 blocked shots across 24 games this season.
