  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Sets up two goals Sunday

McMann delivered two assists and took two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Sabres.

McMann participated in the build-up of the goals scored by Max Domi and Nicholas Robertson in the first and second periods, respectively. This was the first time the 28-year-old cracked the scoresheet since bagging two goals in a 4-3 win over the Oilers on Nov. 16, although it must be noted he missed seven games due to a lower-body injury between Nov. 30 and Dec. 12. McMann has six goals and three helpers over 23 appearances this season.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Game-time call

Barkov (illness) will be a game-time decision against Edmonton on Monday, per Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network.

Barkov didn't participate in Monday's morning skate after missing Saturday's 3-0 loss to Calgary. He has generated nine goals, 29 points, 54 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and 26 hits through 22 appearances this campaign. Anton Lundell will remain in Florida's top six if Barkov sits out another game.

  • Senators' Zack Ostapchuk: Back with big club

Ostapchuk was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.

Ostapchuk has played in Ottawa's last 10 games and should be in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup versus Seattle. He has chipped in two assists and 34 hits in 16 NHL appearances this season while occupying a bottom-six role.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Islanders' Brock Nelson: Notches apple in loss

Nelson produced an even-strength assist in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

Nelson picked up the primary assist on Noah Dobson's fourth goal of the season early in the third period. Nelson has dished an assist in three consecutive games, but he's mired in a nine-game goal drought. The left-shot center has struggled on the man advantage as well -- he has just one power-play goal this season after potting nine in 2023-24. Nelson is up 10 goals and 20 points while averaging 19:18 of ice time through 32 games. He'll look to extend his point streak to four games Tuesday against the Hurricanes.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Plucks apple in win

Dorofeyev logged an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Wild.

Dorofeyev's offense had turned cold recently -- his assist snapped a six-game drought. The 24-year-old winger remains in a second-line role, but he's been under 15 minutes of ice time in three straight contests. He's produced 18 points, 93 shots on net and a minus-4 rating through 31 outings, putting him on track for a career year, but his production has been goal-heavy, so he may be prone to some slumps when he doesn't have his shot right.

  • Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Offers helper

Karlsson produced an assist and five shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Wild.

Karlsson set up Victor Olofsson's game-winning tally in the third period. The 31-year-old Karlsson has been a bit quiet with just three points over his last nine outings. For the season, the center is up to five goals, eight assists, 51 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 22 appearances.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Provides two assists in win

Eichel notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Wild.

Eichel has picked up a goal and five helpers over his last five contests. The center also has two power-play points in that span -- he went 10 games without contributing on the power play from Nov. 17 to Dec. 4. For the season, the 28-year-old has excelled as the Golden Knights' top forward, racking up nine goals, 33 assists, 90 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 31 appearances.

  • Filip Chytil C | VAN

Rangers' Filip Chytil: Manages assist in loss

Chytil logged an assist and four hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.

Chytil has three points over his last five games. He was listed on the top line Sunday and ranked second among the Rangers' centers with 19:06 of ice time, one second less than Vincent Trocheck. Head coach Peter Laviolette had to get creative with Artemi Panarin (upper body) out Sunday, but Chytil has played well enough to get a longer look in the top six. He has 12 points, 49 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-9 rating over 23 appearances -- don't expect his physicality from Sunday to become the norm.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Generates assist in win

Schenn notched an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Schenn has four points over seven outings in December. He hasn't found the same kind of success as the Blues' other top-six forwards, but he still offers depth scoring with a physical edge. The 33-year-old center is up to 16 points, 63 shots on net, 76 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 32 contests this season.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Extends goal, point streaks

Kyrou scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Kyrou scored for the fourth game in a row, and his point streak is up to five contests dating back to Dec. 7 versus the Oilers. The 26-year-old winger continues to lead the Blues in goals with 13 over 32 appearances. He's added 14 assists, 92 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-4 rating. Kyrou can sustain this level of offense, and he still has some room to grow on the power play this year, but he typically won't add much of a physical element.
