Robert Thomas C | STL
Blues' Robert Thomas: Earns two points in Sunday's win
Thomas scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Thomas has a seven-game point streak spanning all of December. He has four multi-point efforts in that span, racking up a total of four goals and nine assists. The 25-year-old center is up to six goals, 23 points, 39 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 20 appearances. While he still has a pass-first mentality, fantasy managers should have no problem finding room for a point-per-game center in their lineups.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Garners shorthanded helper
Jarvis recorded a shorthanded assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Jarvis has done well on special teams over 10 games since he returned from an upper-body injury Nov. 25 versus the Stars. In that span, he has contributed eight points, including five on the power play and two while shorthanded. It's a showcase of his all-situations play, which has seen him earn 19 points over 23 outings this season. The winger also has 63 shots on net, 36 hits and a minus-4 rating.

Martin Necas C | COL
Hurricanes' Martin Necas: Offers helper in win
Necas posted an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Necas' four-game point streak ended in a 3-0 shutout loss to the Senators on Friday. He responded with his 30th helper of the campaign Sunday, setting up Jesperi Kotkaniemi's insurance goal in the third period. This is the second year Necas has reached the 30-assist mark, and he's likely to blow right by his career-high 43 from 2022-23. He's at 44 points, 74 shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-3 rating over 30 contests.

Jordan Staal C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Produces pair of helpers
Staal registered two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Staal ended his eight-game point drought by helping out on goals from linemates Jordan Martinook and William Carrier. The 36-year-old Staal remains in a third-line role as he has for many years, though it's not one that always leads to offense. The center has 11 points, 38 shots on net, 39 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 30 outings in a shutdown role.

Jesperi Kotkaniemi C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Adds insurance goal
Kotkaniemi scored a goal on two shots and added four PIM in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Kotkaniemi took an early double-minor penalty for high-sticking, but the Hurricanes scored while he was in the box. The 24-year-old then atoned for his penalty with a third-period tally to pad the lead. He's scored three times over his last nine games, though his offense remains inconsistent. Kotkaniemi has five goals, 10 assists, 53 shots on net, 20 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 30 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Scores late to avoid overtime
Bedard scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in 17:52 of ice time in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.

Bedard is heating up with two goals and five helpers over his last five games. The center has nine points (three goals) through eight games in December, which is one more than the eight points he produced across 12 games in November. Bedard has nine more points than any of his teammates, and he's up to seven goals (three game-winners), 19 helpers, 13 power-play points, 12 PIM and a minus-11 rating through 31 outings.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Three points in victory
Teravainen scored a power-play goal on his only shot and added two helpers in 16:43 of ice time in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.
Teravainen had a pair of even-strength assists in the first period, and he scored his seventh goal of the season on the man advantage in the middle frame. It was the left-shot winger's first goal since Nov. 27 and his first multi-point outing since Oct. 17. Teravainen's offensive output will likely remain sporadic unless he can earn consistent top-six minutes. He's tied for third on Chicago in scoring, with seven goals, nine assists, 10 power-play points and a minus-13 rating through 31 appearances.
