David Gustafsson C | WPG
Jets' David Gustafsson: In concussion protocol
Gustafsson missed Wednesday's practice and is in the concussion protocol, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
Gustafsson was injured when he fought against Boston's Trent Frederic during the third period of Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins. Gustafsson has no points, five PIM and four hits in three appearances in 2024-25. Rasmus Kupari will likely draw back into the lineup while Gustafsson is unavailable.

Cole Perfetti C | WPG
Jets' Cole Perfetti: Puts up helper
Perfetti logged an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.
Perfetti set up Nikita Chibrikov's first NHL tally late in the third period as the Jets ran up the score. The helper ended a five-game slump for Perfetti. The 22-year-old winger is at 18 points, 53 shots on net and a plus-11 rating through 30 contests, but he appears to be struggling a bit with the Jets missing Nikolaj Ehlers (lower body) from the second line. The good news is Perfetti's role appears stable, so he's in a good spot to turn things around.

Mason Appleton C | DET
Jets' Mason Appleton: Tacks on goal Tuesday
Appleton scored a goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.
Appleton has three points over his last three games, a vast improvement on the two assists he logged over the prior 16 contests. The 28-year-old wasn't going to sustain his hot start to the season, but the Jets have mostly left their lines intact since the team has played well. Appleton is at six goals, eight assists, 49 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-8 rating over 30 appearances in a third-line role.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Deposits power-play goal
Namestnikov scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.
Namestnikov ended a five-game slump with the opening tally Tuesday. It was his first power-play point since Nov. 9 versus the Stars. The 32-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 16 points, 33 shots on net, 29 hits, 24 PIM, 19 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 30 outings. He's been a decent depth scorer in a middle-six role this season, and his seven power-play points are his most in a single campaign since 2017-18, when he had 16 of them between the Lightning and the Rangers.

Gabriel Vilardi C | WPG
Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: One of each in blowout win
Vilardi scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Bruins.
The Jets' first line is humming again -- all three of Vilardi, Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor had multiple points Tuesday. For Vilardi, it was his second such effort in four games, a span in which he has three goals and two assists. The 25-year-old is up to 12 goals, 10 assists, 57 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 30 appearances. He doesn't boast as high a ceiling as his linemates, but Vilardi is shaping up to be a reliable offense-only option for fantasy managers.

Steven Stamkos C | NSH
Predators' Steven Stamkos: Supplies assist in loss
Stamkos notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Flames.
Stamkos set up the first of Jonathan Marchessault's two goals in the game. During Stamkos' eight-game goal drought, he has mustered just three assists and 13 shots on net. The 34-year-old forward has 14 points, 68 shots, 26 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-14 rating over 29 appearances. He'll likely continue to center the top line until Ryan O'Reilly (lower body) is ready to return.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Islanders' Brock Nelson: Picks up assist in loss
Nelson logged an assist in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Kings.
Nelson snapped a six-game slump with the helper. Prior to that dry spell, he had seven points over three contests. Consistency is a concern, especially when playing in a low-scoring offense, and it's not great that he has just four shots on net over his last four games. For the season, the 33-year-old center is at 18 points, 87 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 30 appearances.

Alex Turcotte C | LA
Kings' Alex Turcotte: Adds assist Tuesday
Turcotte notched an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Islanders.
Turcotte has four points over his last eight outings. The Kings have been using seven defensemen and 11 forwards, but with Turcotte as a fourth-line option, he's had to rotate in rather that having steady shifts lately. The 23-year-old is at nine points, 23 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-9 rating through 23 appearances, and he remains part of the second power-play unit despite not having a point in that situation in 2024-25.

Jack Roslovic C | EDM
Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Deals helper Tuesday
Roslovic logged an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Roslovic was in a top-line role for much of November, but he has since moved to the fourth line. His 10:18 of ice time Tuesday was a season low, which is not a good sign for his production in the short term. The 27-year-old has been impressive so far with 13 goals, four assists, 60 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 28 appearances, putting him over halfway to exceeding the 31 points he earned across 59 games between the Blue Jackets and the Rangers in 2023-24.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Set to return Wednesday
Carlsson (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against Ottawa, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Carlsson missed the last six games due to his upper-body injury, but he should be back in action for the first half of a back-to-back set Wednesday. Over his first 20 appearances of the season, the 19-year-old totaled six goals, 11 points, 10 blocked shots and seven hits while averaging 16:43 of ice time.
