  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Productive effort in defeat

Trocheck contributed a goal and an assist Sunday in a 7-5 loss to the Kraken.

Trocheck scored his second power-play marker of the season in the second period, and he added a helper on Alexis Lafreniere's ninth goal of the season in the final frame. Trocheck has racked up two goals and five points over his last two games, and he's gotten on the scoresheet in four of the last five games after snapping a six-game scoring drought. The right-shot center didn't record an assist across 14 games in November, but he appears to have turned the corner in that regard with his dynamic start to December. Trocheck has collected eight goals and nine assists through 26 appearances.

  • Kraken's Matty Beniers: Two helpers in victory

Beniers produced two assists, one on the power play, in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

Beniers registered a helper on the man advantage in the middle frame, and he set up Yanni Gourde's empty-net tally to seal the win for the Kraken. After being held off the scoresheet in seven consecutive contests, Beniers has produced six assists over his last five games. However, the 22-year-old hasn't found the back of the net since Nov. 14. The Massachusetts native is up to four goals, 12 assists and a plus-9 rating through 29 contests while slotting in on the top line.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Two apples Sunday

Stephenson posted two helpers in 19:52 of ice time Sunday in a 7-5 win over the Rangers.

Stephenson registered the primary assist on Oliver Bjorkstrand's power-play marker in the second period, and he added the secondary helper on Vince Dunn's goal in the final frame to give Seattle a 5-3 lead. Stephenson has been productive as a playmaker lately with five helpers over his last five games, but he's only scored once since Oct. 19. The left-shot center has only put 25 shots on goal through 28 games, so he'll be hard-pressed to match the 16 goals he's deposited in each of the last two seasons. Overall, the 30-year-old Stephenson is at two goals, 17 assists and a minus-10 rating.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Goal, assist in victory

Wright notched a goal and an assist Sunday in a 7-5 win over the Rangers.

Wright generated a secondary helper on Eeli Tolvanen's second-period marker to tie the game at 3-3, and he scored his seventh goal of the campaign at 11:13 of the final frame. Wright added two shots, three blocks and a plus-3 rating in 12:27 of ice time. The 20-year-old has scored in three consecutive contests, and it's his second three-game point streak of the campaign. Wright has compiled seven goals, four assists and a plus-2 rating through 26 appearances.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Injured in Winnipeg

Sillinger (lower body) won't return to Sunday's game against the Jets.

Sillinger was unable to play in the third period Sunday after blocking a shot in the second period. The 21-year-old had one block and one hit in 8:44 of ice time before departing. An update on Sillinger's status should surface before Tuesday's home contest against the Flyers.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Status unclear following early exit

Cirelli appeared to suffer an injury after taking a hard hit in the first period of Sunday's 4-2 win over the Canucks, and he didn't play in the final two periods, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports.

The extent of Cirelli's injury isn't yet clear, and head coach Jon Cooper didn't have an update on the 27-year-old's status after the game. Cirelli is slated to be evaluated further Monday, and his availability for Tuesday's road game against Edmonton remains to be determined.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Sets up lone tally in loss

Larkin notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche.

Larkin took a shot attempt that pinged in off Lucas Raymond for the Red Wings' lone goal of the contest. This was Larkin's third assist over his last six games, but he hasn't scored in that span. It's a little bit of a slump for the center, though it mirrors the rest of the Red Wings' poor offense lately. Larkin is at 21 points, 69 shots on net, 20 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 27 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Casey Mittelstadt: Breaks slump with helper

Mittelstadt recorded an assist in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Red Wings.

Mittelstadt snapped an eight-game point drought with the helper. The 26-year-old center has maintained a second-line role on paper, but his ice time has dropped significantly amid his slump and the return of other forwards. Mittelstadt should ultimately benefit from having better talent on his line, but he could be a player to drop in the lineup if his struggles persist. He's at 19 points, 48 shots on net and a minus-17 rating across 28 appearances.

  • Travis Boyd C | TOR

Wild's Travis Boyd: Reassigned to AHL

Boyd was sent to AHL Iowa on Sunday.

Boyd has been a healthy scratch for the last five games. He hasn't earned a point in two NHL appearances this campaign while posting two blocked shots and one hit. Boyd has two goals and nine assists in 13 AHL outings this season.

  • Sharks' Mikael Granlund: Garners power-play helper

Granlund had a power-play assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Panthers.

Granlund set up a Tyler Toffoli tally late in the third period to prevent a shutout. The 32-year-old Granlund has contributed a goal and five helpers over his last five contests. For the season, the steady center has 30 points (10 on the power play), 81 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 28 appearances.
