  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Good to play Saturday

    Malkin (undisclosed) is set to play Saturday against the Rangers.

    Malkin didn't participate in Friday's practice, but he didn't end up missing any games due to the injury. He has 13 goals and 41 points in 37 outings in 2025-26. Malkin will attempt to extend his four-game scoring streak (three goals, three assists) Saturday.

  • Sharks' Philipp Kurashev: Ready to rock

    Kurashev (upper body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Calgary on Saturday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

    Following a 19-game absence, Kurashev will replace Pavol Regenda in Saturday's lineup. The 26-year-old Kurashev has generated six goals, 15 points, 49 shots on net and 30 hits in 31 appearances this season.

  • Kraken's Berkly Catton: Won't play before Olympic break

    Catton (upper body) will miss Seattle's final three games before the Olympic break, the team announced Saturday.

    Catton left Thursday's 5-2 win over Toronto because of the injury. He has five goals and 11 points in 40 appearances in 2025-26. Seattle's last three games before the break are Saturday in Vegas, Tuesday in Anaheim and Wednesday in Los Angeles.

  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Not available Saturday

    Lundell (upper body) has been ruled out of Saturday's tilt against Winnipeg, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

    Lundell will miss his second straight game. The center has 15 goals and 21 assists across 52 appearances this season. He could return as early as Monday when the Panthers face Buffalo in Florida.

    Avalanche's Martin Necas: Not playing Saturday

    Necas (lower body) won't play against Detroit on Saturday, Aarif Dean of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

    Necas is day-to-day and will miss at least one game. He has compiled 22 goals, 62 points, 124 shots on net and 57 hits across 52 appearances this season. Taylor Makar will draw into Saturday's lineup due to Necas' absence.

    Devils' Cody Glass: Back in lineup Saturday

    Glass (lower body) will return to the lineup Saturday in Ottawa, per Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site.

    Glass missed Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over Nashville. The 26-year-old center has 13 goals and five assists over 42 games with the Devils this season. He could be on the second line between Arseny Gritsyuk and Lenni Hameenaho if Nico Hischier (illness) is unable to play.

  • Islanders' Casey Cizikas: Returns to action Saturday

    Cizikas has recovered from his illness and will return to the lineup Saturday against Nashville.

    Cizikas sat out his first game of the season Thursday. He has six goals, eight assists and 108 hits across 53 contests this season. Max Shabanov will come out of the lineup after drawing an assist Thursday in a 2-1 win over the Rangers.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

    Devils' Jack Hughes: Unavailable Saturday

    Hughes (lower body) won't play against Ottawa on Saturday.

    Hughes remains day-to-day and will miss at least one game after tweaking something in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over Nashville. He has compiled 12 goals, 36 points and 127 shots on net across 36 appearances this season. Based on Saturday's morning skate, Dawson Mercer is poised to center the top line, but Nico Hischier (illness) could occupy that role if he can play.
