The superstar center is up to 27 goals, including four game-winners, as well as 35 assists, 172 shots on net, 38 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 52 appearances. Bedard is now just five points shy of matching his total from 82 contests a year ago.

The Golden Knights prospect has matched his goal total from last season (28), but he's also enjoyed an uptick in playmaking with 48 assists for 76 points through 58 appearances this season. Matthews (lower body) won't finish Thursday's game versus the Ducks.

Matthews took a knee-on-knee hit from Radko Gudas in the second period.
