Luke Glendening C | PHI
Devils' Luke Glendening: Designated for waivers
Glendening was placed on waivers by the Devils on Thursday.
By putting Glendening on waivers, the team will be able to move him down to the minors in the future, assuming he goes unclaimed. The Devils did the same with Evgenii Dadonov and Maxim Tsyplakov, which could be a sign they are finalizing a deal to bring a player or two in via trade. For his part, Glendening has featured in just four of the team's last 14 contests and has gone 11 games without generating a point.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Questionable for Friday
Teravainen (undisclosed) could have aggravated a pre-existing injury at practice Thursday, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Teravainen has three goals in his last two games, giving the veteran 13 goals and 15 assists in 54 games. The Blackhawks will presumably monitor Teravainen leading up to Friday's game against the Canucks.

Emmitt Finnie C | DET
Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Pots another goal
Finnie scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Finnie has goals in back-to-back games to begin March after going 22 contests without scoring. The rookie winger is up to 11 goals, 23 points, 96 shots on net, 94 hits and a minus-7 rating through 62 appearances this year. His physical play gives him appeal in deeper fantasy formats, though a third-line role at even strength isn't encouraging.

Jacob Quillan C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Recalled from AHL
Quillan was summoned from AHL Toronto on Thursday.
Quillan will replace Nicolas Roy on the roster after Roy was dealt to Colorado earlier in the day. Quillan has played four games this season at the NHL level, and he's failed to record a point. Quillan had 12 goals and 33 points in 38 AHL games before being recalled.

Luke Glendening C | PHI
Devils' Luke Glendening: No room in lineup
Glendening has been a healthy scratch for the last six games after sitting out Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Maple Leafs.
There's no room for Glendening in the lineup, especially after Nick Bjugstad was acquired from the Blues on Feb. 4. Until an injury opens a spot, Glendening will likely remain in the press box. The 36-year-old has just four helpers with 30 shots on net, 66 hits, 45 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 52 appearances this season, so his time out of the lineup won't be noticed in fantasy.

Adam Edstrom C | NYR
Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Activated Thursday
Edstrom (lower body) has been removed from injured reserve prior to Thursday's clash with Toronto, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Edstrom is slated to take on a fourth-line role, suiting up for the first time since Nov. 29 versus the Lightning. Prior to getting hurt, the 25-year-old center managed just four points in his last 24 outings. With Edstrom back, Jonny Brodzinski figures to serve as a healthy scratch Thursday.

Tyson Kozak C | BUF
Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Unavailable for Thursday's game
Kozak has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Penguins for an undisclosed reason, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
While the exact reason for Kozak's absence isn't yet clear, head coach Lindy Ruff said after Thursday's morning skate that the 23-year-old is day-to-day and remained in Buffalo while the Sabres traveled to Pittsburgh. Josh Dunne is slated to take his place in the lineup Thursday, while Kozak's next opportunity to suit up will be Saturday against the Predators.

Nicolas Roy C | COL
Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Traded to Colorado
Roy was dealt to Colorado from Toronto on Thursday in exchange for a conditional first-round pick in 2027 and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2026.
Roy had five goals and 15 assists across 59 appearances with the Maple Leafs this season, his first in Toronto after the offseason deal that sent Mitch Marner to Vegas. The first-round pick in 2027 is top-10 protected, and the Maple Leafs will receive an unprotected first-round pick in 2028 instead. Colorado has three fifth-round selections in 2026, and Toronto will receive the lowest of the picks.

Boone Jenner C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Returns to lineup Thursday
Jenner (lower body) will return to the lineup Thursday versus Florida, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Jenner sat out Tuesday's clash versus Nashville with the injury. The 32-year-old has eight goals, 19 helpers, 98 hits and 94 shots on goal in 45 games this season. Danton Heinen could be the odd-man out, with Jenner's return.

Ryan O'Reilly C | NSH
Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Day-to-day
O'Reilly (face) will miss Thursday's clash versus Boston and is considered day-to-day, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
O'Reilly is having an outstanding season with 22 goals and 37 assists in 61 contests. His name has been bandied about in trade rumors, but it's expected that he will remain in Nashville this season. Filip Forsberg could replace O'Reilly on the top line, between Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Marchessault.
