Bedard scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Predators.
Bedard tied the game at 1-1 with his second-period tally. He scored in three of the Blackhawks' four games immediately before the Olympic break, and he's picked up where he left off. His goal Thursday was his career-best 24th of the campaign, and he's added 30 helpers, 148 shots on net, 32 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 45 outings. Bedard has taken significant strides to rounding out his overall game in his third NHL season.

Predators' Steven Stamkos: Adds empty-netter
Stamkos scored an empty-net goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Stamkos received the puck on a Chicago turnover and made no mistake on the empty-netter. He has 11 goals and six helpers over his last 14 outings. The 36-year-old forward is up to 29 goals, 45 points, 144 shots on net, 65 hits and a minus-15 rating through 58 appearances this season. Stamkos likely doesn't have the time to approach a point-per-game pace, but he's been quite effective since late November.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Buries go-ahead goal
O'Reilly scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
O'Reilly put the Predators ahead with 3:16 left in the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The center has three goals and three assists over four outings in February. For the season, he's earned 21 goals, 57 points, 108 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating in 58 appearances. He's on pace for his best season with Nashville, and he could take a run at the 70-point mark for the first time since 2018-19, when he had 77 points in 82 contests with the Blues.

Tavares scored a power-play goal in a 5-1 loss to Florida on Thursday.
It was Tavares' 79th power-play goal with the Maple Leafs. That tied him with Wendel Clark for the fifth most in franchise history. Tavares is on a four-game point and three-game goal streak. He has three goals, one assist and nine shots in those four games.

Matthews picked up an assist Thursday in a 5-1 loss to the Panthers.
Matthews' assist streak now stands at five games and five assists. It matches the longest assist streak of his career. Matthews has gone six games without a goal (17 shots), and he has just one snipe in his last 10 games (one goal, seven assists).

Lavoie scored two goals in AHL Henderson's 6-2 win over Coachella Valley on Thursday.
Lavoie has five goals and three assists over eight games in February. He missed nearly three months in the middle of the campaign, but it hasn't slowed down his offense. For the season, he's earned 22 points, 88 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 22 outings.

Rodrigues scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Thursday.
The goal came shorthanded; it was the first shortie of his NHL career (604 games). Rodrigues also made it into the franchise record book. He had seven shots in the first period, which was the most by a Florida player in a first period since the great Pavel Bure had nine March 16, 2001. Rodrigues has four points (two goals, two assists) and 20 shots in his last four games.

Lightning's Ethan Czata: Puts up three points Thursday
Czata scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Niagara's 5-4 win over Erie on Thursday.
Czata has five points over his last two games. The Lightning prospect is up to 23 goals, 46 points and 66 PIM through 53 appearances, but he's also carrying a minus-17 rating. Czata is shaping up to be a bottom-six grinder, as he is doing only marginally better on offense than he did last year.

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Carries team to victory
Larkin scored two goals in a 2-1 overtime win over Ottawa on Thursday.
Larkin was fresh off an Olympic gold medal win with Team USA, and he carried the Wings. His first goal came in the second period on the power play to tie the game 1-1. His second came when he beat Shane Pinto to the puck before sliding it five-hole on Linus Ullmark. Larkin is on a three-game, five-point scoring streak (three goals, two assists; six shots).

Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Out long-term
Janmark is dealing with a chronic injury that will keep him out long-term, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports Thursday.
Janmark was limited to 2:30 of ice time Wednesday versus the Ducks. The 33-year-old's absence will likely lead to him landing on long-term injured reserve to provide a bit of cap relief for the Oilers. In Thursday's game versus the Kings, expect the team to play short one forward.
