  • Flames' Blake Coleman: Won't play Saturday

    Coleman (upper body) won't be in the lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

    Coleman is day-to-day and will miss at least one game after getting hurt in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Boston. He has generated 13 goals, 21 points, 105 shots on net and 110 hits across 44 appearances this season. Due to Coleman's absence, Yegor Sharangovich will occupy a spot on the second line, and William Stromgren will serve on the fourth line.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Moves to IR

    Kopitar (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

    The Kings activated Corey Perry (personal) from non-roster status in a corresponding move. Kopitar will miss his third straight game against Edmonton on Saturday and won't be eligible to play against Dallas on Monday. However, it remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has collected six goals, 21 points, 49 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and 19 hits in 37 appearances this season.

  • Blackhawks' Anton Frondell: Two points in return to SHL action

    Frondell scored a goal and added an assist in Djurgardens' 3-1 win over Farjestad on Saturday.

    Frondell is coming off a gold-medal-winning performance with Sweden at the World Junior Championship, where he racked up five goals and three assists over seven games. He's now up to 11 goals and six helpers over 26 SHL outings with Djurgardens. The 18-year-old has shown well at various levels in 2025-26 and could be a candidate to head to North America in 2026-27.

  • Noah Laba C | NYR

    Rangers' Noah Laba: Ready to rock

    Laba (upper body) will return to the lineup against Boston on Saturday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

    Following a three-game absence, Laba will occupy a third-line role versus the Bruins on Saturday. He has collected five goals, 12 points, 43 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and 53 hits across 42 appearances this season.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Sent to Belleville

    Halliday was assigned to AHL Belleville on Saturday.

    Halliday has played 18 games with the Senators this season, picking up six assists. He had one goal and 18 helpers in 17 AHL games before his recall.

  • Noah Philp C | CAR

    Hurricanes' Noah Philp: No timeline for return

    Philp (concussion) doesn't have a timetable for his return to the lineup, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports Saturday.

    Philp remains in concussion protocol and will miss his second straight game against Seattle on Saturday. He has appeared in two contests with the Hurricanes after being claimed off waivers from Edmonton on Dec. 29. In 17 outings between the Hurricanes and Oilers this season, he has two goals, one assist, 14 shots on net and 30 hits.

  • Wild's Tyler Pitlick: Remains on roster

    Pitlick is still on the Wild roster despite passing through waivers Friday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

    Pitlick will not require waivers for 30 days, should the Wild decide to send him to the AHL. He has one goal with 58 hits in 23 games this season.

  • Ben Jones C | MIN

    Wild's Ben Jones: Summoned from AHL

    Jones was recalled from AHL Iowa on Saturday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

    Jones was called up because Joel Eriksson Ek suffered an undisclosed injury against the Kraken on Thursday. Jones has played 48 NHL regular-season games in his career, including 20 contests this campaign, and has yet to pick up a point. He had three goals and three assists in eight AHL appearances before his recall.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Remains unavailable

    Marchessault (lower body) won't play against Chicago on Saturday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

    Despite being considered day-to-day, Marchessault will miss his 11th straight game, and it remains unclear when he will be ready to return. He has contributed seven goals, 10 points, 60 shots on net and 38 hits in 28 outings this season.

  • T.J. Tynan C | COL

    Avalanche's T.J. Tynan: Summoned from AHL

    Tynan was recalled from AHL Colorado on Saturday.

    The Avalanche were down to 11 healthy forwards before Tynan was recalled. Tynan has spent the entire season at the AHL level, tallying one goal and 25 assists in 30 games. Tynan is expected to see fourth-line time Saturday against Columbus.
