  • Jets' Danny Zhilkin: Recalled from AHL

Zhilkin was summoned from AHL Manitoba on an emergency basis Friday.

Zhilkin played four games earlier in the year with the Jets and was unable to garner a point. The rookie center had 11 goals and 11 assists in 54 AHL games before his recall. Morgan Barron is in the concussion protocol, which resulted in Zhilkin being brought up from the minors.

  • Parker Ford C | WPG

Jets' Parker Ford: Promoted from minors

Ford was called up from AHL Manitoba on Friday on an emergency basis.

Ford's elevation to the NHL roster, in addition to that of Danny Zhilkin, doesn't bode well for the availability of Morgan Barron (concussion) against the Avs on Saturday. With the Jets bringing up two forwards ahead of their four-game road trip, there is no guarantee the 25-year-old Ford will get into the lineup.

  • Wild's Hunter Haight: Sent down to minors

Haight was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Friday.

Haight has logged just seven NHL games this year in which he has recorded one assist, eight shots and seven hits while averaging 9:59 of ice time. The 21-year-old center has been significantly more productive in the minors this year, generating 23 points in 43 games with Iowa. He'll have a chance to earn a spot on the Opening Night roster heading into the 2026-27 campaign, though he'll have to bring his scoring touch to the NHL level.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Keeps rolling Thursday

Dvorak scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-1 win over Chicago.

After stealing the puck from Spencer Knight inside the first minute of the first period and feeding Alex Bump for the game's opening tally, Dvorak capped the scoring on the night with 25 seconds left in the second frame. Dvorak has two goals and five points in the last three games, and his top-six placement should keep him productive down the stretch as the Flyers claw for a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

  • Noah Ostlund C | BUF

Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Considered game-time decision

Ostlund (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Friday's matchup against the Red Wings, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

Although head coach Lindy Ruff labeled Ostlund as day-to-day, the 22-year-old participated in Friday's optional morning skate and is considered a possibility to suit up against Detroit after missing Thursday's practice due to an upper-body injury. If Ostlund is unavailable for Friday's game, Tyson Kozak, Josh Dunne and Tanner Pearson are candidates to suit up.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Reaches 30 goals for first time

Bedard scored his 30th goal of the season in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Flyers.

The 20-year-old spoiled Samuel Ersson's shutout bid midway through the second period, ripping a shot past the netminder from below the faceoff dot after Anton Frondell had made a nifty backhand centering pass from behind the net. It's the first time Bedard has hit the 30-goal mark in a season, but it almost certainly won't be the last. Through 59 games this season, the blossoming superstar has 67 points, 196 shots on net, 42 PIM and a minus-4 rating.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Pots goal No. 30

Horvat scored his 30th goal of the season in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Stars.

The 30-year-old center opened the scoring early in the first period, flying down the wing and ripping a shot high blocker side on Jake Oettinger from the faceoff dot. It's the fourth time in Horvat's career he's reached the 30-goal plateau, and through 59 games this season he's produced 52 points, 202 shots on net, 50 hits, 40 PIM, 36 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating.

  • Maple Leafs' Benoit-Olivier Groulx: Assigned to AHL

Groulx was assigned to AHL Toronto on Friday.

Groulx spent two and a half weeks with the Maple Leafs and recorded three goals, two assists, 26 hits and three blocked shots while averaging 15:30 of ice time over nine appearances. By sending Groulx down, he won't be subject to waivers to be sent to the Marlies for the AHL playoffs, and he could still rejoin the Maple Leafs as an emergency recall sometime late in the regular season.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Pots game-winner Thursday

Eriksson Ek scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-2 win over Florida.

The Wild nearly squandered a 2-0 lead in the third period, but Eriksson Ek banged home a rebound with five seconds left on the clock to salvage the win. The 29-year-old center snapped a 10-game goal drought in the process, and on the season he's delivered 18 goals and 45 points in 64 contests with 181 shots on net, 95 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-13 rating.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Secures third straight 20-goal year

Cirelli scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Kraken.

Cirelli got the Lightning on the board in the first period, tying the game at 1-1. This was his fifth goal and ninth point over the last six games, and it was his 20th tally of the campaign. He's reached that threshold in each of the last three years as he establishes himself as a quality second-line center in his prime years. He's at 49 points, 113 shots on net, 45 hits, 38 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a plus-32 rating over 63 outings this season. With the surge he's on lately, securing a second straight 50-point campaign should be no trouble.
