  • Rangers' Brendan Brisson: Stays warm with three-point effort

Brisson scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Hartford's 4-1 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.

Brisson has five points over his last three games, with all of that offense coming at Bridgeport's expense. He was on a six-game skid prior to this burst. For the season, Brisson has nine goals, four assists, 48 shots on net and a minus-16 rating over 30 appearances, and he's lacked the necessary consistency to get an NHL call-up.

  • Devils' Conrad Fondrk: Deals four helpers in BU win

Fondrk registered four assists in Boston University's 8-2 win over Simon Fraser University on Saturday.

Fondrk has been fairly limited this season, but this was a good game. The second-round pick (2025) of the Devils put up four helpers in this blowout and now has two goals and seven assists through 12 appearances this season. As a June birthday, he still has a decent amount of runway on his development timeline.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Remains out Saturday

Marchessault (lower body) isn't expected to play Saturday in Calgary, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

Marchessault hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 17. He has seven goals and 10 points in 28 appearances in 2025-26. When Marchessault is healthy, he'll likely serve in a top-six capacity and receive a role on the power play.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Late scratch Saturday

Protas (lower body) is a late scratch for Saturday's game against Chicago.

Protas has 16 goals and 31 points in 41 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. His absence from the lineup will likely result in Sonny Milano playing Saturday for the first time since Dec. 23. It's unclear if Protas will be an option for Monday's clash against Anaheim.

  • Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Out Saturday

Brindley (lower body) will miss Saturday's game in Carolina, per Corey Masisak of The Denver Post.

Brindley has five goals and nine points in 27 appearances in 2025-26. Taylor Makar is expected to draw into the lineup due to Brindley's absence.

  • Tyson Kozak C | BUF

    Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Unavailable Saturday

Kozak (upper body) is expected to miss Saturday's game against Columbus, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.

Kozak hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 18. He has two goals and four points in 24 outings in 2025-26. His next opportunity to play will come Tuesday versus Vancouver.

  • Blackhawks' Dominic Toninato: Returns to minors

Toninato was assigned to AHL Rockford on Saturday.

Toninato didn't end up playing for Chicago during his latest NHL stint. He has one assist in five games with the Blackhawks this season, and he's also recorded five goals and 17 points in 25 appearances with Rockford in 2025-26.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Earns pair of assists

Trocheck logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added two PIM in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in the Winter Classic.

Trocheck has been rolling recently with four goals and five assists over his last eight games. The center has earned three of his helpers on the power play in that span. Overall, he's up to 24 points (five on the power play), 49 shots on net, 97 hits, 22 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 29 appearances this season. Trocheck's top-six status is secure, and he offers all-around upside in fantasy.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Scores PP goal

Reinhart scored a power-play goal in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Rangers.

Reinhart accounted for all the offense the Panthers mustered in this 5-1 defeat, thanks to a power-play goal in the third period. The goal means Reinhart has extended his point streak to seven games, a stretch in which he's tallied 12 points (six goals, six assists), 22 shots, eight hits and four blocked shots.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Participates in all five goals

Zibanejad recorded three goals and two assists, including one goal and one assist on the power play, in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Artemi Panarin and Igor Shesterkin played big roles in Friday's win, but Zibanejad turned heads with an impressive display that saw him participate directly in each of the team's five goals. The 32-year-old Zibanejad has notched 10 points over his last seven outings (four goals, six helpers) and is now up to 35 points in 42 games. He's on pace to surpass the 60-point mark for the fifth consecutive campaign.
